This was my first apartment in New York and fresh out of college. He guided me through the process, put up with my anxious phone calls and was reassuring the whole time. BEWARE! One of the most unresponsive and unprofessional broker's I've met, Omer. To start my appalling experience with him, I was inquiring about an apartment DAILY for a week and only after I was able to hunt down his cellphone number was I able to receive a response in which he told me there was an application already in, Okay fine. Finally, he did inform me that the application fell through and we scheduled a viewing.

Upon my arrival to our scheduled viewing, there was another girl who he scheduled at the same exact time (? not cool during COVID times if you ask me, every other place I had seen had appointments 15 minutes apart to ensure social distancing practices) but OK. The application process was a nightmare that lasted 8 days, and only A DAY before I was suppose to move did I get approval.

Nearly every time I would call Omer during these 8 days to get an update he would not answer, and then text me hours later telling me his is another country so thats why hes lacking in response? TBH not my problem? Like I HAVE TO MOVE? Then you shouldn't have taken on this apartment?! I understand that brokers have a lot of apartments to handle but the unresponsiveness and carelessness I received from Omer was on another level.

To top it all off, after living in my apartment for nearly A WEEK, another broker from their agency COMES INTO MY APARTMENT UNANNOUNCED!? I'VE BEEN LIVING THERE FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK ALREADY. Super scary as a women living alone in nyc to have a random person walk into your LOCKED apartment. Omer obviously did not do his job by informing his colleagues that this apartment was TAKEN. Insane. As they should, the company covered the cost of changing the locks but in my opinion that still does not rectify the complete lack of professionalism.

I worked with Jeff Ariel who went above and beyond to find me a truly great place. Not only was he kind, but also funny. I had been looking for months and after meeting Jeff, he showed me 5 spots in one night. That type of determination is what sets Alpha Properties above the rest. In all my time in New York I've never had such a courteous and excellent experience. Thank you Team!
