I live in the apartment complexes next to Auburn Crossings, their maintenance man tore our cable line from their building and didnt replace it. we share the cable box with them, I had to wait a full day for Spectrum to show up to fix it. Lost money because i work from home. Looks like they were running lines to repair old ones and accidentally ripped internet/cable lines out and didnt replace or try to fix it.

The people who work at auburn realty are nice but renting with them has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I was paying for pest control services for three months upon moving in just to find out I was accidentally left off the list and not receiving services. I found out because despite my personal constant spraying for bugs (2-3 times a week) my apartment was INFESTED with spiders so I made a phone call to the office.

They made sure I was placed back on the list, but i'm not completely convinced that I am receiving services since the bug issue is so bad. I have struggled with bug infestations including spiders, cockroaches, scorpions, millipedes, among many others. I can't count the number of times I would break down and cry because I hated where I lived and despite my constant calls and emails, it never really seemed to get better.

I have paid for bug spray out of my own pocket, cockroach bait stations, my friends purchased me a strip to place on my door to help keep them out, and I have also spent money on an expanding foam seal for my door because I knew it was up to me to take matters in my own hands. I have even asked to be released from my lease due to these conditions, and was sent the form, but to do so I have to pay the "small" price of a $600 release fee.

I am exhausted and have even purchased "house shoes" because I don't feel safe walking around without shoes on inside. I've even stepped on a millipede before without having shoes on and my sister has stepped on a cockroach when she came to visit me. Since I have also found 3 scorpions in my apartment, I'm not willing to walk around the place without shoes anymore. Also, just last week I had to rewash the plates and bowls in my kitchen cabinet because a spider decided to make its home in the cabinet overnight.

Like I said, almost everyone I've spoken to at Auburn Realty has been nice, but the living situation itself has been a nightmare and I can't wait to resign somewhere else. Just because of my experience over the last year, I will never rent with Auburn Realty again. No one should have to come home to an unsafe place to live without any hopes of being released without a fee.

Lived as is condition. I didn't check some(I know it was my fault), but they could save painting, carpet, and other things from my as is condition, but then they charged everything once I left the apartment. Disputed it but it went to collection without me knowing more than a year and my credit went down severely Other than this, management still was not kind either

I lived with auburn realty for all 4 years of college and don't have any complaints. Everyone in the office is very involved and nice and maintenance repairs were always on time. I think people who leave reviews don't always read their leases that they sign that specifies certain charges that any realtors office is going to charge. Would recommend to anyone looking for nicer places that aren't going to charge you crazy prices like all of the new apartment buildings in Auburn will.

Do not rent from these people. the units reek of cigarettes no matter how much you clean or light candles. also, upon move out, my roommate and i cleaned our entire unit despite it not being cleaned when we got there. then, about a month later auburn realty sent us a list of things that we supposedly broke while we lived there, including the washer, dryer, dish washer, light bulbs, drain stoppers, towel rods, etc. think of all the things that make up an apartment and they charged us for it. (i'm assuming they just charge you for everything so that they can update the unit after u leave, considering they were replacing all the carpet around the time we moved out), we also received a charge for cleaning and rekeying the unit for the next tenant (which is something that auburn realty asks their new tenants to also pay, so they're getting money for that on both ends). i will say, though, that the people in the office are super nice despite them trying to pull one over on my roommate and i.

I have rented a property from Auburn Realty for 3 years now and have never had any complaints. If there was ever a maintenance issue, it was fixed within a couple of days and the issue never reappeared. The staff is very friendly and has always been accommodating. I can't recommend them enough.

Don't trust this company. We moved into an outdated apartment with old paint, old worn out carpet, mismatched tile in the kitchen, etc. After we moved out they not only are keeping the security deposit, they also are trying to charge us an EXTRA 2 GRAND for replacements they are doing in the apartment. New paint for the entire place, new floors for the entire place, $83 for a sink plug and pull cord for a ceiling fan.it's obvious they are updating the apartment and trying to force us into paying for it.

None of these items were in any worse shape when we left than they were when we moved in. Now looking at other reviews I see that other people have had the exact same issue - so it's not an isolated incident. BEWARE of this company. After lots of negotiating they refuse to drop these ridiculous charges and are threatening to send us to debt collectors. You've been warned, stay away!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value they charged 410 turn over fee, And we have totally trashed, nasty carpets, it was sticky. They cancel.respond the request of performing totally cleaning on the carpet, only bloom And regular vacuum. If sombody move in and found the carpet in nasty situation and been charged for turning over, sue them.

I hate giving bad reviews, however in this case I have no choice. I lived in a complex leased by Auburn Realty for 2 years, never had parties, never trashed the place or caused any disturbance, and I made sure to clean the apartment better than it was before I moved in 2 years before. Then a few months after I moved out they have done everything in their power to keep the entirety of my $1000 deposit.

They sent a list of random "repairs" which were done to the apartment, even though I know for a fact that not even a single one of them was correct. They also refuse to contact me back after I inquired about the false claims. There was no damage, everything was clean, the only repair which would have even been justifiable would be to repaint, however they also charged me a $490 "turnover fee" when I moved in, which lists cleaning and painting as one of the services which this fee pays for.

I don't want anything from them except the $1000 deposit that was stolen from me. Of all the people in this word to steal $1k from, they decided to steal it from college students who don't have any other choices for places to live or any resources to get their money back. If you're looking for a place to live, spend that extra $100 or $50 a month, you'll just have it kept from you anyway if you chose to lease with Auburn realty.

I also have never experienced a leasing company who treats their lessees with such disrespect when they come to the office for questions or concerns, and who continuously lies and deceives their lessees. I would never even consider leasing with them again, I just want my deposit back so I can move on with my life and have the money that was stolen from me which I need to pay for my education at Auburn.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Their a rip off. My roommate and I moved out in July, we waited 2 months for our $700 security deposit where they thought only $50 would be fine to give back. I sent in pictures and the original work order form to show that everything that was deducted was there at move in. We won the dispute but it is now January (6 months later) and we still have not received the rest of our security deposit. Really sad how a business is willing to rip people off like this.
