Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness They were excellent when helping my find a lease, but they did not return my deposit as they said they would. I was ignored and ghosted.

I was abruptly informed two weeks prior to Christmas that my building was being sold. The timing was especially stressful. I saw one apartment prior to finding my home that made me want to cry. I absolutely couldn't see myself living there. Fortunately, Danny was extremely responsive and arranged a viewing for me first thing the next morning. His professionalism and genuine desire to help made a very challenging experience manageable.

To take things a step further, after moving in I lost the entire contents of my wallet, keys included. Danny responded within moments and made sure to have keys to me within impeccable timing. Despite having already signed a lease, I was still a priority. Boston Realty Net has treated me as a person, they're interested in building lasting relationships. I recommend them to anyone trying to navigate the chaotic Boston Housing market.

My boyfriend and I worked with Bobby Doyle to find an apartment in South Boston. Bobby worked extremely hard for us over the month and a half that we worked with him. Every listing we sent to him he would reach out to the agents immediately and get us in to see the place as soon as possible. When it came to applying for apartments he was on top of getting everything checked and in to the listing agent quickly so we wouldn't lose out. He was so attentive and personable, I would recommend anyone to work with Bobby. He is the best!

The person assisting me was named Daniel Allen. Easily the best person I have ever worked with. Due to circumstances I had less than 1 week to find an apartment in Boston. After showing me multiple potential places to live that fit my unique time frame, Daniel managed to find the perfect place in the North End for me. Every step of the way he was there for any questions, comments, or concerns with an extremely speedy response. I will certainly be using this company, and hopefully Daniel, when I begin my search for a new apartment in the following years. 10/10.

Brian McNeil and Frank Carroll helped me find a rental in Back Bay that met my roommate's and my expectations in terms of price, size and location. I was relieved at how easy they made our apartment-finding experience, they took me around to several locations (in various neighborhoods) and were able to answer my many questions about each unit. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

I recently recommended a friend to Boston Realty Net based on my great experience with them, and when I went to Yelp to forward her their information, I couldn't believe some of the reviews on here. My experience with them was so positive, I'd be remiss to not share it. I was looking to sell in Brookline and buy on the North Shore. Matt and his team were there for me every step of the way.

They guided me through everything from when to put it on the market and conduct the open house to the pricing strategy. They were experts on the market and after the first open house I had six offers - all well over asking price. I closed in 30 days. They were just as knowledgable and professional on the other side when it came to buying my next property.

I wound up getting the house of my dreams and making more money off of my condo than I ever imagined. The best part about working with them though, was how patient and available they were, day or night. The buying/selling process can be a stressful one, and if I had to do it all over again, there's not a team I'd rather have represent me than these guys.

Steve was very easy to work with. He showed me a few nice places in the Back Bay and South End, but out of my price range. I would recommend Boston Realty Net for higher end apartments but their selection of what's considered affordable in Boston proper is limited. Maybe I'm just used to living in a no frills neighborhood like Brighton.

Absolutely awful. Bobby D. Texted with me set up an appointment to see an apartment in back bay. We showed up on time and waited for 30 minute outside of the apartment. I texted and called several times with no return calls or texts. But 10 minutes after we left, he butt dialed me! I can hear their conversations with no answering to me. So I know he definitely had his phone. Shady unreliable unprofessional people.

Stay far far away! Seriously just look on Craigslist with owner posts only. I have seen a few already with courteous and responsive owners. These brokers are just out to get your money without doing the work.

Unreliable, unprofessional, unaccountable. I could say unfavorable things about them on and on as realtors and as property managers. STAY AS FAR AWAY as you possibly can.

I have been renting around Boston for years now and dealt with more realtors and companies than I care to remember. The realtors at Boston realty net are the most down to earth and friendliest in Boston. No lies, no showing you places you cant afford, no BS! If you want real people that are honestly trying to help you and not trying to sell you garbage wrapped in gold than Boston realty net is the place for you. Frank Carroll and Matt Yanosy are two stand up guys that will do anything to help you. I highly recommend Boston Realty Net.

I have never written a review of a real estate agent before but I HAVE to say how great Daniel Allen at Boston realty net was in our search for an apartment! It was amazing how he listened and showed us apartment after apartment that were in the ballpark of what we wanted. We highly recommend Daniel for spending the right amount of time and follow up to find just the right choices!

I'm currently working on getting my undergraduate degree at Emerson College, and I was recently put in a very tough spot when my housing plan for the fall fell through on short notice. Most of the good undergraduate studio apartments are taken by May, so I was extremely anxious when I hadn't found a place to live by July. I also had a terrible experience in June with another realtor who pulled a "bait and switch" with pictures of a fabulous apartments that looked nothing like the pits he ended up showing me (which were out of my price range and in neighborhoods that I told him I did not want to live in.) I was finally able to get in contact with Dan at Boston Realty Net, and he showed me 5 apartments in my price range in one day.

All of them fit the specifications I had given him (near the T, heat and hot water included, as close to Downtown as I could get at my price point, in the neighborhoods I had specified, etc.) After a very stressful two months of uncertainty and frustration, Dan helped me find a place to live within 3 hours. I ended up with what is essentially my ideal apartment in Back Bay, which I had assumed would be impossible due to the time constraints and the limited options that other realtors had given me.

I had also assumed a decent studio in Back Bay would be out of the question with my price range. Everyone at Boston Realty Net seemed incredibly genuine and invested in finding me an apartment that I would be happy with, and I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic experience I had with them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment in the Boston area.

Hi everyone, this was my second time working with Frank at Boston Realty Net and with both experiences over the years he found wonderful places for me to live that fit my very specific set of criteria. It's no surprise why he has such strong connections within the Boston realty community as he is very professional, approachable, and honest, all things that can be hard to find in a realtor.

I have always appreciated how he has never been pushy and instead works with you no matter how long to find the perfect place. I've had the pleasure to get to know him over the years and as one of the owners of Boston Realty Net, I recommend him to anyone who is looking to rent or buy.

Frank is a truly professional and help me a lot to find a nice apartment in back bay. he is honest and always give the right information unlike the other brokers who always pushes their client to close the deal. If you finding an apartment I highly recommend to go to Frank.

I had the privilege of working with Matt Yanosy from Boston Realty Net when trying to sell and purchase a condo in Boston. Matt carefully listened to my needs at the start of the process and explained the time frame for the condo purchase and sale. He was very responsive with answering my (many) questions and I knew he always had my best interests in mind.

When potential issues came up with the transaction, he would make himself available and go out of his way to solve the problem. Everyone that I interacted with at Boston Realty Net including Matt, Steve, Clarissa, Frank, and Maggie were extremely polite, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Unlike some people I have worked with in the past, I never felt pressured to make an offer on a place that wasn't a good fit. I highly recommend working with Matt or anyone from Boston Realty Net.

Steve Hogan at Boston Realty Net found me the most beautiful apartment in the Back Bay! And, best of all, he LISTENED to me, got a sense of who I was and took the time to make an appeal to the landlord on my behalf to consider my budget restraints because Steve believed I would be a great tenant. Steve is someone who actually genuinely cares about the people he helps -if you're stressed, he's stressed -if you're not happy, he's not happy -but if he finds you an apartment like the one he found for me, trust me, you'll be happy!

I'm glad I didn't find Steven Hogan on Yelp because I probably wouldn't have used him! I seriously don't understand these bad reviews. I actually found him because I contacted Steven about an apartment that was posted on Craigslist. I highly recommend him. He is easy to deal with, not pushy or annoying, considerate of your rental needs and only has you look at places that meet those needs. He's on time when you're going to meet him.

He was always there before me. I contacted him and although I changed the time I could meet multiple times, and last minute, he made it happen. That first place didn't workout for us and about 2 weeks later he contacted me at midnight on a Friday because he was just about to list a place that met our needs perfectly. I couldn't believe he remembered us and what we needed, couldn't believe he emailed me about it on midnight on Friday instead of just listing it and letting me know later.

I responded right away, he showed it to us bright and early the next day, we put in our applications Saturday and signed a lease on Sunday. The lease has been signed and his check has been cashed and he is still responding to my texts in less than hour. Answering questions, giving me advice on things to do to help the move easier. Edit: Steven is great.

The side of this company that manages apartments once you're living there not so great. The low reviews on Yelp didn't make sense to me until I moved in. The apartments just aren't kept up but then again you're living in the middle of an awesome city so it's kind of a trade off

No one likes dealing with brokers Scanning Craigslist post after Craigslist post - the process is miserable. I exchanged emails with 15 different brokers - each just as unhelpful as the next. Matt Scano on the other hand made it his mission to find us an apt that would working. Going as far to asking his coworkers about places that weren't even listed yet.

He spent more time on quality than quantity and we love the place he found. Steve Hogan showed us the apt and was a genuine straight shooter. Will definitely use these guys again!

This review is for Boston Realty Net's full time staffing and overall company: shady business dealings. Poor property maintenance: no cleaning of the common area in several years. Overall lazy group. Not worth the fee. Steve Hogan, on the other hand, is an amazing realtor. Highly recommend him. Too bad he was only working here temporarily.

Have been meaning to write this review for months. Belated kudos and a huge thank-you to Maggie from Realty Net. My wife and I moved to Boston last fall. Maggie showed us some great properties, one of which in the end was our close second choice. The owners of our first choice apartment (sadly found through another, much less professional agent who had the listing through pure luck) took forever to get back to us.

We were dying of stress, the agent on the other property wasn't returning our calls, and if it hadn't been for Maggie's responsiveness and calm, professional help, I'm not sure what we would have done. She was great to work with, didn't pressure us, and really wanted us to find a great home, even if that meant not getting our business. In the end we did get our first choice, but we hugely appreciated Maggie's help. She deserved the commission much more than the agent who got it.

These people truly care about their jobs. My boyfriend and I were introduced to Steve Hogan, after replying to a Craigslist add about one of their properties. Steve was probably one of the better real estate agents out there - trust me, I used to work as an admin assistant for one awful one on the other side of Newbury. He totally understood what we were looking for, didn't push us out of our fiscal boundaries, and found us the perfect apartment.

All in less than one day. It was truly amazing. Not only that, but we had our application processed in a couple days, and the all clear not soon after that. Most agents take a while, especially when dealing with Sept. 1st move ins and recent college grads. He treated us with respect and understood that we were both working full time and needed a place that was both in a safe and centralized location. I'm convinced we got one of the best deals in the back bay/fenway area.
