St. Augustine lies on the northeastern coast of Florida. The hurricane season typically runs from June until November. While only a few storms have actually been close enough to warrant an evacuation, there still exists the possibility. When authorities issue a "Mandatory Evacuation" all guests will be required to vacate the rental property.

Honestly. It's one kicker. Every SINGLE day, the internet dies. I know I'm on vacation but WiFi is essential these days and if you can't figure that out, it will never be worth my money. Other than that it's a decent place. Cozy rooms and good views. One star may seem harsh but if you can't get basic amenities to work, like internet, you kind of walked yourself into that review.

Have been visiting since I was a young man, over 30 years. After A1A Realty stated that we could cancel our vacation for any reason due to Covid if we purchased insurance, we booked our vacation believing we were safe. When Florida saw an increase of Covid, we called to cancel. Nationwide Insurance refused our claim, and A1A stated that they never informed us otherwise. They lied, and we are out quite a bit of money. Had we been given the correct information, we would never have made a reservation this year.

This place should be ashamed. We rented a unit for New Years and my father n law tested positive for COVID. We attempted to cancel as we did not want to spread the virus. They refused to refund our money as they stated we did not cancel 60 days prior. My father n law passed from COVID but they still were able to rent out the unit after we canceled and refused to still offer any refund.
They are heartless and advised me that some refunds they were able to process and others they couldn't. Seems like a pretty good reason to refund. They also asked us not to come if we weren't going to cancel since they have a lot of retirees. I wish I could rate 0 stars

The view was great and the room was amazing but the management are a bunch of thieves. After going here for 20 something years with our family they took 2 separate deposits from us and claim they can only go back so far and cannot find our deposits that were never returned to us. We will not return under its new management!
