Terrible management with this company.they advertise apartments that aren't available.then they're quick to reject applications for no reason. When you try to do a dispute on applications they are not responsive to rectify the situation before the so called 30 days before you have to wait another 6 months to reapply if you decide too.it's terrible they lack so much communication which makes me wonder what it's actually like for residents to get in contact with management

Have lived in multiple states, and Brookside Gardens has been the apartment complex with the worst management and worst neighbors I've ever experienced. We have a neighbor who is loud in literally everything they do, used to play music loud all time, were forced to eventually call the police because neither they nor management cared. They're kids are loud all day and night every day, they rarely quiet them down and management doesn't care.

Pretty sure they have 3 kids (2 boys and 1 girl) in a single bedroom which might be against the lease. Whenever they come home, the door slams 9 times at least, stomp that sounds like a stampede all the time, and constantly sounds like they just bang on the walls or have the kids throw stuff at them out of anger of us complaining. They're relatively small people too, so the stomping/heavy steps makes no sense. They have no neighborly decency, and management just doesn't care.

It's far away from my building so getting the rent to them is a challenge. The people and customer service is great. They also do a great job answering questions and if you call them and they say they'll call you back that day they'll honor and that's a good thing.

I called last friday and notified that we didn't have hot water. We were told they were working on it. Next day we still didn't have hot water. We called over 30times the after hours emergency maintenance NO ONE ANSWERED. We called more than 5 different numbers we were told that they didn't managed the property. I sent emails no response. They had us like this for 4 days. We have a 1yrl old. We had to boil water to be available to give her baths. No one for management even try to reach us. Terrible management. No humanity.

Joe and Sal (rip)'always supportive of the less fortunate. While networking them in the 90s. In Southend. Wtby, Ct. They were absolutely amazing. Although Joe Sr. Love se ding my client to Meridan houses lol. They both we're very supportive of everyone ethnicity wasn't a problem. The need.of an apartment or a little side job they had my clients.they look out. Condolences to family for Uncle Sal and continued blessings to Joe Sr. Sal's family as well. passed last year may he (rip) and they would definitely help you they helped me so much with my client South End in Waterbury. I say Hello God I need an apartment for a family of 4 or 5 he make it happen if I called and say I need a job for father of 10 he say OK. Never did he say no. He

It would be nice if they were actually in the business of helping families.there are many who are desperately trying to find a place and you never can reach them to even look at a place to move to. The waiting list seems to be longer than a bad rap sheet

I love Sunset Gardens in Waterbury. The management is responsive. I hate that I have three levels but that can't be helped. My neighbors are really good. For instance, whenever it snows everyone in my little area has at least one person come out and we all help each other. My place is clean and the neighborhood is great.

Live at Bella Vista in New Haven for 20 years was nice when I first moved in now it's been three months and we can't even use the washer and dryer we have one elevator I've called for five months to get a new rug haven't seen anybody they suck.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value You call they never pick up and when they do pick up they so rude they don't have no manners. They get mad when you want to know more about the apartments they get frustrated to even be on the phone. If you don't like your job quit.

The New Britian property IS THE WORST PLACE EVER! The landscape is not maintained. Tenants plant gardens next to their front doors as though they own their apartment. Never have I seen anything like this before. My neighbors are a nightmare to live next too. They smoke in front of my place and my family and I have to inhale the second hand smoke. My entire apartment smells like cigarettes and I don't even smoke.

I complained to management and they said, " I can't tell your neighbors where to smoke". There are cigarette buds on the ground throught the complex. The neighbors are extremely loud. The walls are thin and I can hear their music, tv, them slamming cabinets/drawers, interior and exterior doors. Stomping, banging and hammering from the time they wake up until midnight.

This is an everyday issue, the weekends are worst because its all day noise. I have lived here less than 1 year and I have complained to management 6 to 7 times and no change. Nothing gets fixed. The place is run down, most tenants have dogs and don't pick up after them. I've complained to management. Nothing has happened. There's dog droppings all over the grass throughout the complex/community.

The only pro is the rent is cheap and heat and hot water is included. This place looks like the projects. This place doesn't deserve a star, but I had to select one in order to post. This place gets a ZERO!

This is the main office to all Carabetta complexes. I live in the ones in Waterbury. They are horrible. The price is good for what it includes but everything else is bad. Friday night I fell on our walkway, it was a sheet of ice, no sand no salt. This is coming 3 days after an ice storm. I am trying to figure out why our walkway was like that and had not been attended too.

The maintenance guys knows it's there because it's right next To the little shed they get all their equipment from. I called the emergency line to make a complaint and the girl took my info down. Fast forward 24 hrs later no one has yet to come sand or salt the walkway! You think after someone falling that it'd be main priority to get it fixed so no one else has an accident. Sunday, the ice finally melted because it was warmer. We shouldn't have had to go since Tuesday with a sheet of ice on our only way out to the parking lot. This place is a disgrace.

Carabettas leasing office in wtby have been complaining about my neighbors smoking weed in the basement for 2 years; our vents are all connected so my whole apartment smells like it! management does not do shit about it! lazy motherfuckers

I don't understand why zero stars can't be award. This company should be shut down. They literally up their rent because everyone is on subsidies. So they are committing fraud. Their apartments are infested with roaches and all kinds of bugs. They will make you feel like it's you. But it's their apartments. They up the rent every year. The water is never hot. It's just a horrible place to live and horrible family business

Carabetta gave me the worst living experience of my life. Disclaimer: if you are an individual who works hard and likes to come home to peace and relaxation, the Carabetta company is not a good place to live. Here's the reasons why: -Carabetta enters your apartment whenever they feel like it. They say they give you notice.sometimes they do sometimes they don't.

They hold multiple inspections throughout the year and have no problem entering your home while you are at work. -The walls are thin. I will try to attach a photo for evidence. The Carabetta uses cardboard and cheap plaster to make their walls, so if your TV is not on, you can have a conversation with your neighbor through your wall. There is no sound proofing. -Snow removal occurs after 10am.

Be prepared to shovel EVERY snow storm if you work early in the morning. -The office staff are ghetto and poorly trained. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism and customer service as I have with Carabetta. Yaritza, the employee in the Sunset office that is responsible for evictions, inspections & questions/complaints never answers calls & emails, her voicemail is always full, she will promise you new counters/cabinets and never fulfill them.

She has no passion or drive to help and is extremely ghetto and hard to communicate with. I feel sorry for myself for having to have dealt with this level of incompetency for the duration that I did. -You should move here if you enjoy coming home to hearing children running and yelling in the apartment next to you. Carabetta lured me in with a cute apartment, full basement and free electricity. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way.

DO NOT RENT FROM OR DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! If I could give it ZERO stars I would! I'm in Revere, MA, Water's Edge Apartments, but it's all the same. This place and the people who run it are pathetic! It is extremely overpriced and owned and run by slum lords. The elevators NEVER work yet there's 15 floors of livable space. I see many people carrying baby carriages down the stairs.not sure how my neighbor, who is a handicapped male adult in a wheelchair, is able to leave his home.this will catch them though.god forbid there's an emergency, first responders will NEVER make it to the 16th floor in time. MAJOR lawsuit if they gave a damn.

The washers and dryers don't work and management has done nothing to fix them. The people here are filthy and dump trash in hallways and stairwells. Listings boast about an indoor pool. I've been here for over a year and it's never been in a condition to use. It also boasts about saunas, fitness, rooms, etc in every building yet NONE of it works!

They make promises to get people to sign the lease, don't keep those promises, and just line their greasy pockets with our overpriced rent! This place is a joke.don't fall for it like I did!

Beaware! These people are horrible. Very unprofessional. At first they said that rent does not go up. Liars, rent went up 2 years in a row to a total of $100 more than what we were paying when we moved in. As appliances go out, they replace them with old recycled appliances that do not last long and that is if you are lucky enough to get them replaced.

My refrigerator went out at least 5 times in 3 years and everything in it would go bad and they just kept "fixing it". At one point my kitchen started leaking water from the bathtub when we took showers and they took about 3 months to fix that as well. They also charged me an "Air Conditioner fee" that I would have gladly paid if I actually used an air conditioner which I did not.

On the winter, get ready to get the worst sand possible thrown in front of your doors which does not help at all with the ice and the snow which they don't properly clean. Horrendous experience. They seem nice and promising at first but don't fall for it.

Don't rent from these egotistical self centered people. I'm warning you their a bunch of liars. I sent our rent money by check in the mail they claimed they never got it and they slammed us with an eviction notice so I called them and they told me ok yes we have your checks then they slam us with another eviction notice telling us you better pay up or the marshal will personally move you out of the premises. I have rented before in other complex's and this was never a problem. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.
