Listing agent Ms Lea Alperstein was hostile, unprofessional, irate, and disrespectful towards buyers agent located in the DC Metro area. 3 days after the closing of a rental property in Owings Mills, Md Anne Arundel County, Md. Ms Alperstein had the nerve to contact buyers agent from her personal cellphone disputing an actual close date, her broker policy on a closing date, and a fine notification she received from Bright MLS all while homeschooling her children.

She continued through a text asking for an email response. No one answers or return calls from the Yaffee team regarding a potential renter for many of the properties in Owings Mills Md. Client had to drive up to the brokerage to get application process started. Application was done electronically. I do not trust this brokerage or its agents based on the entire selling (renter) process.

I had a great experience working with Jessica Alperstein and I highly recommend her if you are looking to buy or sell your home. She is extremely knowledgeable of the real estate market and she was able to sell my condo unit quickly and above asking price during a global pandemic. I couldn't ask for a better agent and a better experience. If I could give her 10 stars I would. Thank you so much!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality Jessica is prejudice and we were discriminated against my husband is Caucasian and Jessica talked very professional and things were moving along smooth, until I joined the process and I'm African descent her whole demeanor changed we have contacted a n attorney on this matter

I utilized Jessica Alperstein from this agency to find new tenants for my investment property and then sell my property when I was done being a landlord. She was amazing! Her advice was excellent and her knowledge of the market is top notch! I would recommend this agency and Jessica in particular to anyone! She was also always accessible via phone, email and text!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I went to a property in owings mills. twice under this name, the key was still missing, I know for a fact they keep the fees and don't share clients.

They fucking suck when it comes to communication. I've tried to schedule tours on several occasions and they NEVER RESPOND!

Yaffe Real Estate is an organization of professional realtors and staff who earn the distinctions of professionalism daily. My every contact and experience over several years has been warm, receptive and positive. This is this as true of the leadership of the firm as it is with the persons who receive my service calls and emails. The recent advertisement of my rental property is an example of true professionalism. Mary is my contact at Yaffe Realty.

She consulted with me and reviewed my case thoroughly before making suggestions to better prepare my property for rental in a highly competitive marketplace. It is because of the written recommendations and the follow through of the Yaffe team behind Mary's leadership, I believe I received the highest rent I could have attained. Every comment about the property was positive and it was rented within a very reasonable period of time after it was advertised and for the rental price I asked. Yaffe Real Estate is my realtor for all real property matters.

I've attempted to contact Yaffe regarding properties through their website, Zillow, and Trulia. I've yet to receive a single response. Clearly renting their properties isn't a priority, as they can't even take the time to respond to inquiries. While I can't speak to their actual leasing process, I can say their communication with potential leasers is non-existent.

I can NEVER, EVER, get a hold of anyone. I call the person's direct number, NO ANSWER. I call the Yaffe Real Estate Office, NO ANSWER. How do they not have a receptionist? Are the numbers listed their cell phone numbers? I constantly see them having listings ALL OVER Baltimore County, but I can never get in touch with ANYONE! In the morning, afternoon, or evenings.

I never had such issue with a real estate company when looking for an apartment. Update: How is it that you can respond to a review on Google, but still not pick up the phone? Your agents have between an 8-10% call back response. I have already found another real estate agency. Please worry less about a review online, and actually become available.

I found this company very hard to get a hold of. Judging by the other reviews, I am not alone. After they were finally reached they were very nice and helpful. The intial process left a bad taste in my mouth, but I would encourage others to try their own hand with them.

Beware of this company and their devious scams. They post ads on places such as Zillow, and make it seem like you can just contact them and schedule a tour of the property. I contacted them on several occasions and did not hear back. My husband happened to pass by the property and spoke to a Yaffe Team representative and she told him to fill out an application online.

My husband and I completed a $50 A PERSON application and then we were asked to submit additional sensitive information (bank statements, W2 forms from the last 2 years and other proof of asset related docs). I got concerned and requested to see the property before moving forward and they informed me that I had to submit all those documents and go through a complete credit check before they would even show me the property. What!?

I refused to subit anymore of my information and they obviously refused to refund me my application fees. They are strictly in the business to scam people out of application fees and gain access to your personal information for unforeseen reasons. Please stay away from any representative under the Yaffe Team. Their company needs to be investigated and I plan to bring awareness to their unethical practices.

Yaffe Real Estate is a great company with a quality staff! I rented a townhouse from them for 8.5 years. Juli, Kristin, Jessica, Wayne, and Linda, were all professional and helpful. Juli handled our maintenance requests and was easy to reach, knowledgeable, friendly, and promptly fixed any issue that would come up. Jessica was tremendous in helping me buy a house. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend looking to rent or buy a house!

Unfortunately my experience with Yaffe Real estate was horrible. Note: If you are leasing, you will not get a phone call and if you call them they will only email you several days later. The communication is awful. I was in search of leasing a property. I found one, contacted Yaffe because they were listing it. I spoke with Kristin over the phone and request to see it.

For starters she did not come out to show me nor did she give me the courtesy to tell me she was sending Jessica. When i saw the apartment i liked it and left Kristen as well as Jessica a message stating i wanted the apartment. Neither one called me back. several days later i get an email from Jessica stating the landlord was looking at someone else who wanted more than a year to lease.

I told her i would have leased it for more than a year but she never asked me. several days later she told me the LL went with the other person. She never asked if i wanted to look at something else they were listing. I asked about a couple other properties they had listed, several days later i get a email from Jessica stating that they were different.

I asked what do you mean she said "distance". That didn't make any sense for her to make that statement because distance wasn't a issue for me. It was very clear they did not want to lease to someone like me. (well qualified) Perhaps this company is a bit bias! Fortunately for me I went to a reputable real estate company Coldwell Bakers the agent i spoke with showed me the residence, they asked if i could lease for more than 1 year and now i am a resident at the same place i tried with Yaffe who just took my application fee of 50.00 and had no intention of helping me find a residence to lease.

I have several friends who are in the market to purchase property and was looking at yaffe however when I shared my story and showed them emails between me and Yaffe, they decided not to go with Yaffe realty. I would not recommend this company if you are leasing.

I believe they are scamming people to get application fee money and your private info. They told me I couldn't schedule a showing until my application was approved then all of a sudden the property owner decided to go with a different applicant as soon as my application was approved. Well I went to the property and it didn't even look available. They didn't offer to find me another suitable rental or work with me in any way to find a home. Total waste of $50.

I was a first time buyer in Owings Mills and I was not sure what I wanted or how to get it. I contacted Jessica at Yaffe in Owings Mills and She put my fear to rest. She was able to help me identify the property that I wanted and worked to make sure that I was able to move in my new House within two Month. She explained to me every step and looked after my interests. For such a big investiment I could not have chosen a better Agent. I highly Recommend Yaffe if you in the housing market and Specifically Jessica. She is a great Agent.

I used to live in the same community as the Yaffe Real Estate's office, so I know they have been there for more than 15 years personally. Since 2010, I had their property management division to manage my old town home and they did a great job. In 2013, I decided to buy some properties. I contacted the owner Linda, explaining what I want to do. She fully understood my train of thought, and had Jessica, one of the most pleasant and brilliant agent, to work with me.

We first looked at a short sale property and had our offer accepted. Unfortunately the seller's agent didn't do a good job and it was hanging there for more than 6 months. Jessica monitored the inventory closely and when she found one unit available in the same community similar to the one with short sale, she notified me and we bought that unit within 30 days.

In 2014, after 2 years of waiting on the short sale unit, it finally fell through. The seller asked 10% more than originally accepted price, and Jessica advised me to walk away from the deal, knowing she would not be earning commission from that deal. This is the integrity I like to see from an agent. In summer 2014 I decided to look in Howard County. Jessica came to show me properties several times from Baltimore County.

We eventually bought a nice town home at great deal, beating other 6 competitive offers because Jessica told the seller's agent that she worked with me before with very positive results. I always feel that a company is a collection of its individual staff. From the owner Linda Yaffe to the agent Jessica (I haven't worked with other agent so I cannot comment) to other supporting staff, each of them show me knowledge, integrity and very easy to work with.

Most importantly, they get the job done. If I am going to buy another property, they will be the one I call and I will have absolutely no reservation recommending them to anyone who is in the market.

I worked with the Yaffe Real Estate team when renting my house in Timonium, MD. The entire real estate team, including Wayne and Linda Yaffe, were a pleasure to work with on the rental. When I wanted to view the house, they worked within my schedule to accomodate me. They were amazingly responsive to any questions I had, and when I sent an email on even routine inquiries, they responded in what seemed like minutes. I can't say enough good things about the Yaffe Real Estate team, and I would highly recommend them!
