Kids running through the hallways and screaming outside. Not a peaceful environment for the $

This is my second time loving with Cole group and wow is it a horrible change. I have a group of people below me living like frat animals throwing 4 day bingers thru their apartment and the common areas. The complex won't do anything nor will corporate respond to me. My father lives in the same building and the terrible tenants flooded his apartment. Complex had the audacity to yell at my father. I'd rate zero stars if I could.

I unfortunately lived in two of their properties. The first one located in Schenectady, New York was what I can only describe as a motel turned into dilapidated apartments. The interior of the building was clearly constructed with the cheapest materials. You could hear your neighbors TALK, not even talking loud but just them simply having a conversation would sound like it was in the same room as you.

If you lived in the downstairs apartment, the ceiling would creek SO bad from your upstairs neighbor walking that you had to put in headphones just to relax. The sound of them just walking was SO loud that it would actually sound like the entire ceiling was cracking. I asked all the neighbors that I knew at that building and they all had the same complaints but unfortunately did not have the funds to relocate. Also, there were drug deals happening in the hallways and you could hear some of the residents have verbal altercations over heroin.

The second location was a lot better in regards to neighbor sound pollution, but I had leaks that they would not repair. Every time it would rain I would have to put down buckets and towels. Also, half of the building is "rented" out as a halfway house which was NOT disclosed to me at or before the time of my lease signing. This company should really think about sending their residents a questionnaire on their tenants satisfaction because I doubt that the local property manager is even relaying any of the complaints. This way maybe their average tenant life per unit would not be one year or less.

Worst company I have ever rented from. They don't care about their tenants. The noise is insane with children running and screaming up and down the hallways daily. Maintenance guys are nice but are terrible at their jobs. Corporate is rude and not helpful at all! Mold everywhere. Avoid!

Horrible complex. Neighbors are poor white trash at best. Children running around unsupervised all day long. House smells like pot, management does nothing about it when it's affecting my health. Then Insult my intelligence by telling me it's a skunk. do yourself a favor for the amount of money they charge monthly, find a better complex.

Please note: Any images submitted will be displayed after approval. Columbia Gardens148 Columbia Gardens, Cohoes, NY 1 I left because after 7 years the place went down hill.

They changed owners when we first moved there it was clean and friendly. The first owners used to throw a party for the tenants appreciation day. it would be a big party w/ bouncy bounces, food, music, the pool, two tenants would win a months rent. One year I got sick because they didn't put chlorine in the pool water. They had trouble with lifeguards not come to work so the pool would be closed on hot days. black mold would grow in the master bedroom and not once did they offer to help to do anything about it.

There's a laundromat on the grounds.it's disgustingly dirty; there's all type of pet hair in all the washers and dryers. six and a half years of never having not even a roach or rodents.we had an infestation of mice because they dug up in the back of our apartment and disturb the their habitat. I had to throw everything in my kitchen away including my expensive pots.

They call the rodent man to lay traps but it didn't work. they just weren't going for the bait. so I had to start using my money to catch these animals. I had to research what they like and what they don't like. In the end I caught 10 mice. I lost thousands of dollars. at first they told us they were going to reimburse us. THEY NEVER DID. then they wouldn't clean the rugs.so for the last 4 months living there we have to have shoes on at all times cuz there are mouse droppings & pee everywhere.

I have to clean it up the best I could not to get sick. we didn't want to vacuum it cuz that's how you spread viruses if the mice has a virus. It was a living nightmare to have mice running around your feet.i couldn't cook on my stove for 2.5 months the maintenance man and I saw a mouse running around in and out of the stove. I was basically having to order out everyday.

When it came time to renew my lease we left a month early because we just couldn't take living in an apartment worrying about another infestation. At first they said well will give you your deposit back as soon as we get it.but the property manager lied. she was also very sneaky and try to come in the house and act like we were dirty. One time I caught her with a video camera on as she walk through my apartment and I told her you don't have to hide that you're recording we have nothing to hide. she plays like she's on your side but she's not. she's a dummy for corporate.

Every time she came in our apartment it was clean like it had been for the last six and a half years.we had to wait until we moved out for our check. we only got it a week early because corporate accidentally sent it to us and not the office. In the last two or three years living there people started stealing more. So you couldn't leave anything valuable on your porch.

In Seven years I've had three new cars all them were scratched up at some point. My limited edition Chrysler 200s & 300c had so many marks on it I didn't even want the cars after a while. then I would hear if maybe your it's because you take it to the carwash too much. No I would use a touchless car washing.there's no cameras on the grounds for you to figure out who's doing what.

The police are there often. In 7 years I've seen the SWAT team & the military had to come two doors down from my house because she was having post traumatic syndrome. And I don't blame her it was the fact that they made it to be a big deal when it was really unnecessary. I wasn't allowed in my house for 8 hours that time. people were breaking into our cars and stealing out change and anything they can get.nobody ever got caught for that. The day we moved out the neighbors where fighting. The young man beat up my neighbor his daughter and the police. When I email the property manager about it she had no clue.
