I rented the Milwaukee magnetic drill press to fabricate a weight rack on 1/8 and 1/4 inch mild steel. The staff at Crown Rentals was more than knowledgeable about how to use the machine, gave me a walkthrough and provided the annular drill bit for the job. They also showed me how to inject lubricant (they provide) into the tool which was vital or proper speed and efficiency of drilling 150 5/8 inch holes. 24 hour rental, great service and product.

Well where do I begin. Maybe at the beginning would be best I hope you packed a lunch. Ready ok! -first off I was told by Renee that they never raise the rent on these properties that they've only ever raise the rent $25 in the past 25 years I knew that was a crock of shit but I went with anyways anyways because the rent was only $885. Fast forward a little bit as in three months the paint is chipping off just about every part of the walls you can see it pretty much everywhere especially in my room we tried to talk to them about this it was just something that naturally happened according to them.

Maybe they think everyone in the fucking world is stupid but them but most people just don't argue with them because they have the power to evict them. Then there was this issue with the shower valve it just stopped working it literally was pouring water out of the spout constantly. This took over a week for them to resolve which resulted in an enormous water bill which they did not compensate us for they only continues to raise our rent every single year for the past five years They hired Spartan services which was a horrible idea with a plumber living on the premises I offered them to re-pipe the entire home for $2700 they declined after using my bid to get another. Spartan services charge them over $1000 to replace the valve and that was it I simply asked them to take a little bit off my rent here in there and I would be fine with re-piping the entire house all the way out to the meter for $2700 I guess because I live here they have the policies that they do not want people that are living here working on it well I pride myself on my work so I guess that's their loss The house was never properly insulated and we had to Pay for ridiculous heating bills this took them quite a while to get resolved and was still not entirely done you could feel cold air coming through the walls they tried to tell me it had something to do with the siding no shit it had something to do with siding you're supposed to replace that every so many years this house was built right after World War II ended.

Their comes over to my house does horrible work insults me in front of my wife while I'm not there is unprofessional as hell makes excuses and does not entirely know what he's doing. ALL THREE HANDY MEN The house was left dirty. As in dust and dirt everywhere from them painting plastering and putting in carpet witch we had to clean and vacuum and dust.

Normally when I buy something from the store or I rent a house from someone or etc. it doesn't come with a bunch of garbage or things I have to clean up unless I make a mess. The pest problem seems to be something that we have to take care of because "it's the law " I guess ethics aren't part of these people's morals The toilet is about ready to fall through the floor we've tried for at least two weeks now to get someone out to fix it they keep sending the same incompetent handyman who enjoys running insults about me to my wife. Called my wife a liar all kinds of fun stuff.

All in all the worst renting experience I've ever had. Next to cobble court. The only decent thing I can say about this company is they did let me have chickens they really couldn't say anything about it but either way they were OK with it that's about it. When my shower was out and they took as long as they could legally to replace it I asked Renee what I was supposed to do about having a shower she said I could throw a wash pan down in the kitchen and fill it full of hot water and give myself a sponge bath.

Just out of curiosity Renee would you do something like that probably not. I work in service plumbing and I get shite an piss and whatever other unholy matter gets on me. I had no one else I could ask for a shower in the mean time. Good thing my neighbors have the same rental company and know what I'm going through. (Not to mention the old crawl spaces) I'm a good renter!

I paid all my late fees caught up on my rent and pay it on time now. I started of with a low paying job when I got here and have tried really hard to improve my status. I don't understand it when people jump in a hole and stay there. If people are complaining about you it's because of you you should try doing something about that not all of them are telling you your garbage because they want you to stay garbage most people want other people to progress in life.

Oh and our rent is now over $1100 in fact it's 1150 that's not much to complain about the grand scheme of things but when your rent was $895 and they've steadily raised it every single year you tend to wonder if the people that told you that the rent only gets raised $25 in the past 25 years are telling the truth. I absolutely hate Renee and crown properties They took our entire deposit and charged us another $1150 to fix shit which is ridiculous Renee you are a piece of garbage

Horrible experience. delivery guys ended up getting the huge truck stuck in my yard and tore up my lawn the day before my wedding. His crew was on my property for half the day trying to get the truck out which was stuck in the middle of the wedding area. We ended up leaving the truck there for 2days. When the owner and his crew showed back up, the owner Rich was rude and stated that he was going to charge me extra for His crew being stuck on my property? Unbelievable experience it was like I was in a bad dream. Single handedly almost ruined my wedding. Not to mention the white tent was dirty and the deluxe toilets we ordered were regular toilets. Never again

0 stars would be more effective. Rudest people I have ever met. Tiffany Noel (assistant manager) who I had to deal with the whole time, along with Jessica Vangilder (party consultant) swear up and down we have 15 of their chairs. When we definitely do not. They charged us 700 dollars to rent 232 chairs, 22 tables and 3 banquet tables. Had math wrong the whole time, and then charged me an additional 400 dollars because we "lost 15 chairs".

They never proved an inventory count. They studdered on words and then gave me the wrong math on that 400 dollars. Count your stuff. They will scam you hardcore. Better yet, go elsewhere. And pay the extra money because I guarantee they're better than this place. Dana the actual manager was nowhere to be found this entire time. Bad bad bad service. Didn't wanna work with me at all.

I hate renting equipment so the easier it is the better. Crown Rentals makes everything very easy, straight forward and as pleasant as can be. The staff are friendly, they have sound advice to help with your project. Reasonable rates, very functional equipment and I even got a couple jokes out of them. Definitely my first resource for rentals in the future.

My partner/roommate posted his own review today, so I'll try not to just copy what he said and give my own opinion on it. Crown Properties is a horrible, deceptive, crooked company. Frankly, I'm unsure how any of their employees sleep at night knowing the kind of dishonesty and shoddy management their company partakes in. Our first property manager, Rebecca, was slow to respond sometimes; but after dealing with Alex, I wish we could have dealt with Rebecca instead!

In our time being forced to deal with Alex, we dealt with: - Rats and bugs for months - Mold that made us sick and destroyed over $1000 worth of our possessions (some of which were sentimental and cannot be replaced) - No lights in our bathroom for two weeks - No dishwasher for over a month In addition, Alex responded to all maintenance requests at least a week after they were submitted and it took at least a week after that for anything to actually get done.

I want to make it clear: we loved the location, price, and size of our residence. If it wasn't for Alex, we would have stayed in that duplex for much longer. If they had given us a property manager who actually knew what he was doing, we would probably still be in that house giving them money. And then the cherry on top of all of this mess was when we returned our keys a few days late and were suddenly notified--with absolutely zero forewarning--that their deceptive company was going to charge us a full month's rent for a month in which we were in the house for zero days. Renting from them was an absolute nightmare.

Their company is terrible, and in any company that was even remotely competent, Alex would have been fired after a month of working there. He's an awful property manager and Crown Properties is an awful company. I said earlier that, if we had a less negligent property manager, we would have stayed longer. That much is true. But equally true is that now, with the latest stunt Crown Properties has pulled in trying to squeeze more money from us, we would never rent from Crown Properties again.

This entire fiasco has been a nightmare. We dealt with pests for almost our entire tenancy, we suffered respiratory issues and lost valuable items due to mold, we went without lights and appliances. And that doesn't even get into how hard this has been emotionally. Do you know what it's like to live in a house that's making you sick and destroying things dear to you while knowing that you can't do anything to fix it and that the ones who are supposed to help don't care?

Do you know how dehumanizing that feels, knowing that somebody is in the position to help you but they don't care enough to do even the minimum required by their job? Do you know what it's like, as someone making well under 40k a year, to suddenly be told that I'm expected to shell out over $1,000--nearly an entire paycheck--over nothing?

And now the duplex we formerly lived in has been listed online for over $100 more than we paid. What a joke! It was worth half of what we paid for it, if that. This is a horrible company that has caused me tears, panic attacks, and financial distress. All so that they can get away with hiring negligent property managers and squeezing extra money out of people who can't afford it. I hope they feel good about themselves. If you're looking to rent a home, save yourself months of distress: do NOT rent from Crown Properties!

Okay the price was right and they had a lot of nice stuff. I would have gave them higher Stars but we had ordered 22 centerpiece mirrors and had we not checked we would have been short because they're were 15 only in the Box. but we had told them that we were having a destination wedding it was 4 to 5 hour drive so we really would have been in deep trouble. so it was a very very important mistake not to make.she said it was her mistake that she read the paper work wrong but the mirrors were dirty and nothing was checked it just didn't seem like they cared too much

The property on Bridgeport is rundown with disrespectful, selfish tenants. The trash can area is always a mess with garbage strewn all over the place, been that way for several months, recycle never gets picked up, random people use it as a dumping ground and most of the tenants just toss their stuff there. There has even been incidents of tenants dumping litter boxes out right over the railing of the balcony. Terrible unit. But it's cheap and month to month so I suppose i shouldn't expect too much.

DO NOT Trust this company. I put my house for rent. Bill (looks like a nice old man) came to my house, had me signed the paperwork and took $350 said to start an account and advertisement. I totally move everything out of the house. Then didn't heard back for next 2 to 3 months. Got an email while I was on the trip said Rick took over. Contact Rick he said my house was filthy and disgusting.

It was totally bullshit. My house was sparkling clean. No pet no kid single lady. Whole house carpet was shampoo by professional company. Front and back yard was maintained by yard company. I sent them pictures and told him to come take a look at my house. He refused. I called the office. The office manager refused to refund me. I complaint to Business Bureau. Until now. They havn't refund me a penny. DO NOT trust this company.

Never listens, wrote our addres wrong from the start 2yrs ago and never fixed it on the contract to any official documents, never fixed any major or any minor thinge they said they would. Raised rent even when they said they newvwe just started getting a little behind. We even did repairs and took things off property and never got refunded as promised! Gave a 3 day eviction notice BEFORE rent was even due! ILLEGAL! Won't return calls when questioned about fixing just leaves threatening calls. Just too much to count. Slum lord much?

Worst person I have ever worked with! Evie I believe was her name. Worst way to talk to prospective renters and she not only judged us but also was very rude and didn't even want to show us the home. How do they expect to have their properties rented if their agents are worthless and have the worst customer service ever! She made a small problem from our past rental history into a HUGE inappropriate problem and even had the balls to tell us we had to pay a deposit instead of $900 to $2500! What a joke. Taking my business elsewhere.

Do NOT hire this company to manage your property. I was forced to fire Bill White (the Owner) for NOT taking care of my property. It costs me THOU$AND$ of dollars to get my property back into rentable shape! The renters were parking disabled cars on the front lawn! If you hire this BAD COMPANY. you deserve everything this company will do to you! AND EVERY DOLLAR YOU'LL PAY FOR THEIR NEGLIGENCE!

Julie was a breath of fresh air to work with while renting our property. She was thorough and clearly noted things the renter needed to be responsible for and what we needed to do upon tenants vacating. Julie's rates are fair and she knows her business very well. We highly recommend Julie and Crown Properties for your rental needs!

I worked with Michelle. She was great. She helped out with getting a house I like and the paperwork, etc. long distance. She answered all my questions, but was not intrusive during our rental period, which is a great balance. I would definitely contact her again if looking for a rental in the area.

I have to say, my best rental experience I've ever had has been renting a house from them. My rent was very cheap for the area I lived in, and although I was responsible for ALL utilities (I mean ALL of them, the whole shebang) what I got in response to those responsibilities was a very hands off landlord. That's not to say that they didn't respond to service calls, oh they did, and ALWAYS in a very timely manner.

My laundry room sprung a leak after the deluge we had this past winter and instead of getting cussed out like some of my other rental counterparts did after their respective leaks, they sent someone over to help me sandbag. I did what I wanted when I wanted with my house without so much as a peep from them, just had to run it by them first and the answer was usually "as long as it improves the property." The absolute only reason I moved away is because we found a place right next to the water with an office and most utilities included for the same price we were paying there.

I could have easily dealt with the neighborhood I lived in, I lived there for two years without problems (everyone thought it was sketchy, and it really wasn't, just old.) I got my deposit back, minus what they took out to deodorize the house from the pet smells that inevitably crept in after having a large indoor dog live there for two years.

I could have paid myself, but the guy they had contracted through was way cheaper than anyone I found so I said go for it. They called and gave me an option to take care of everything they found first before they took anything out of the deposit, which in my opinion was really awesome. Though I moved away to a larger house managed by a different company, I would without a doubt no questions asked rent from them again.
