Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value DO NOT GO HERE! This company consistently lied to me for months. When I showed up to move in, the house was destroyed and I had to find a new house last minute. Many more issues to list.

0/10, NOT RECOMMENDED. I've lived here for 2 years going, I've had multiple issues with many many things but I'm not one to complain. I call only about my swamp cooler which goes out every other week. Although the fridge was broken, the kitchen sink leaks as well as the bathroom, the patio deck is extremely broken and unsafe to walk on as well as the ceiling caving in from something else leaking.

Also the apartment downstairs is constantly flooding. Anyway, I called today for the 4th or 5th time this year and complained about the cooler blowing hot air. While on the phone with Amber, I get told that she's putting in a work order and I won't be getting help til the next day in 110° weather, I also live upstairs and it gets extremely hot and stuffy.

I said I cannot do that, because its only 11am right now and would like help toda, I've started paying an extra $100 a month since the beginning of March. Amber says to me "So what are you insinuating" at that point I say excuse me and she repeats herself. I asked for her managers number just to speak with someone about the cooler without attitude and she says "You can call tomorrow, that's when she'll be in" and wouldn't give me a number.

I said thank you and hung up. I'm complaining because the building maintenance man said the swamp cooler was due for a replacement, 3 MONTHS AGO. We're at a record high here in GJ, and all I'm told is I will be liable for my cooler breaking if I don't turn it off. GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR AN APARTMENT.

There's definitely a dichotomy of personalities here. I'm not one to bad-mouth anyone but I feel there was a strong lack of communication when I was trying to rent from them and they shot themselves in the foot. My first phone call, they sounded very accommodating and were willing to line up three properties for me to view while I was in town later in the week.

I didn't love that I had to see places in person before even getting an application in but I wanted to explore the city a little anyhow. They asked that I call again an hour before the first showing to let them know I was still coming. I was staying two hours away so I had my second call while already on the road. It was during this call with a different person that I find out two of the places were already rented and that I needed to place a deposit with the application as well.

Oh and when I mentioned I have a dog, it became a double deposit. Even though I didn't have my checkbook I figured I would go see the remaining place since I was already on the way. Same person from the phone call showed me the place and as soon as they walked in started chewing out the tenant for not watering the lawn. Definitely didn't feel like a landlord/tenant relationship, more a parent/child one.

As I went into the other room the landlord followed me and I asked the question "how long have you been managing this place" to which their response was "don't listen to him he's (the tenant) full of $h*t" No idea what their conversation really was as I wasn't eavesdropping but I know I would hate it if my landlord ever spoke about me that way. Overall, I feel there are a couple of kind professionals working the phones in the back and some less kind non-professionals working the front. Oh, and then about 4 days after I left town I got a phone call asking if I was still interested in the other two places. to which I replied "I was told they were rented and am now back out of state packing up my house " their response was mostly nonsense about "well we thought we had one in for the first place but I guess not." I had stopped listening because I had already decided I would never want to rent from them. They either need to get rid of a few people or a few people need to leave and start their own business.

I was a great renter. Was told I was going to get all my deposits back and was lied to. Within the 2nd month the house was listed for sale and had over 15 unconvinced showings where I had to have my dog out. After moving out I helped the new owner remove carpet broken appliances and install a fence and Grand Junction property management had the nerve to charge me $200 for a cleaning fee.

Also took Almost 90 days to get a partial deposit back. Called and left messages with no return call. Lack of ethics and morals. Stay away and do not rent. A person is only as good as the word they give and I was lied too.

I'm going to give an honest and fair review. My fiance and I rented from this company for two years same location. When we first moved in the upstairs windows were cracked and they said they were going to fix them. SIX months later it finally got done. Also maintenance for this place is really really awful. They NEVER give you notice when they will show up, and will just show up and come into your home.

I will say all of the staff within the office is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Regarding all of the reviews on them stealing security deposits, you need to take them with a grain of salt. We got all but 52 dollars of security deposit back. They only charged to repair a couple of screens. The reason I'm giving a 4 star and not a 5 is because their maintenance is trash.

Never rent from them. They lie and are currently under investegation and in the middle of several lawsuits for fraud. They will be closed soon. They were a nightmare to deal with. Some people are terrible people, these are the most horrific, mean hearted, abusive, harassing genuinely worse people I have ever encountered. It is not worth it. You will never get your deposit back.

They will harass you and continually fine you about the smallest things. If you dispute it what so ever then they will serve you with an eviction notice for non-compliance, then they drop the eviction if you stop disputing. I wrote and honest review while I lived in a rental of there's and they served me, when I talked to the owner, she said, take down the review and I will drop the eviction and let you stay, you have 3 days. It is illegal and they need to be shut down.

My first time rental property and I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. Please do not make the mistake I made and listened to a friend rather than believe the bad reviews on Google. Every bad review form a homeowners perspective is true and I experienced it first hand. The girls that work there are very pleasant to work with and do the very best they can to compensate for the lies and selective memory that manager brings to the organization.

The contracts they write up are not followed, the portal is under utilized and not updated to cover the misuse of the maintenance costs to the homeowner. The manager sides with who ever she likes the most when repairs are clearly on the tenant. The homeowner must carry maintenance account that is carelessly used without homeowners consent, even when it's requested.

This property manager is not in it for the homeowner's best interest. It's about taking your money and not following through with what they promise. Promises the manager will never keep and will ignore you when she's confronted. On a positive note, we couldn't have asked for a better tenant. We had great tenants that took care of my home. It's sad that the bad experience I had was exclusively the manager of this business! Beware of her BS.

We rented a home "managed" by this company and were horrified by the negligence and unprofessional staff. Our dishwasher quit working, and eventually started to leak. After multiple calls to the facility to have it repaired, we were blown off for 2 weeks.the dishwasher flooded our kitchen, and their staff wouldnt do anything about it, which ended up damaging the floor resulting in it having to be replaced.

The owners had no idea there was ever a problem and they left us without a dishwasher for 2 months.leaving the space where the dishwasher was open.putrid water smelling up our entire house. They are now charging US $13,000 for the damaged floors. We moved and bought a house a year ago.because the rental property management companies in this town are all crooks. Do NOT rent from this company, or hire them to "manage" your rental property. Their negligence led to very expensive damage to the home. The home owners fired them.

This company lacks professionalism, honesty, and integrity. I signed a year lease, with 3 other roommates. During the summer months their swamp cooler was not working so I called in every week from June 10th- July 25th until they finally fixed the swamp cooler. Our house reached 110 degrees while it was 100 degrees outside. The renters previously living their had dogs, which were not allowed, and the yard was dead.

The house was covered in beer cans, and was not cleaned when we moved in. The company kept me on hold for over 40 minutes when I asked to see the bills that they docked off my, and my roommates, deposits. The office ladies Rachel, and Susan raised their voice, told me it was not their problem, and that they cant keep track of all of their rentals to know who we are and what they've said to us.

It took me 30 minutes to receive an email of the invoice. While on the phone I asked if their was nothing to do to get any of the money back. Susan's response was, "What do you want me to do? Go back and dirty up the house, so you can clean it?" If you are looking to rent in Grand Junction I suggest going through Freedom Property or a private person.

I'm going to give a great review to this Company & Staff. Our showing was the same day with Susan, she took her time and talked with us about so many things. She made sure what we were aware that she was going on vacation and left us with good contact information for the staff. Then we met Rachelle and Michelle, both were very informative and helpful and they were the reason we decided to go with their Company!

We have not rented like this before so they were great help. Once we decided on the Property, Amber had our lease completed and ready to sign, she has also had to take many of my phone calls and answer silly questions. Rachelle has been our main point of contact and she was a pleasure to work with. Our move into the house went without a hitch and in the 1st week we are transferring utilities.

They have everything pretty much in order so all I have to do is use their cheat sheet to get my utilities in order. I don't usually take the time to write a review, but when I thought about it I realized that most people only take the time if they have something bad to say. I wanted to make sure that people heard about all the GOOD. Lots of hard work, time, and great information came from all these girls. EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL, Very quick in response and helpful! Thank you Susan, Rachelle, Michelle, Amber and Daisy the Little Dog.

The absolute worst property management company I have ever used. Save yourself the hardship and money and go through another company. To start, the property was filthy, overgrown with weeds, and there was a large trash pile in the side yard when we moved in. I tried to have them take care of it but in the end, I had to do it myself. They also advertised the property as having a washer and dryer and told me personally that there was units in the property.

When we moved in, there was no washer and dryer, and they basically told me to bad, it's your own problem. Repairs take multiple months to happen, if they even happen at all. On multiple occasions, they would cash our rent check without applying it to our property, then proceed to charge us a late fee. Multiple people from the company would call me and ask us to pay the late fee and I would have to resolve the issue with each one.

When I asked why they keep calling and why they couldn't convey the message to the other employees, their response was "we can't keep track of all of our employees." They have less than 10 employees! The girl that works the front desk is not what you would call intelligent either. She will not forward your messages to any of the other employees and I thought her head was going to explode from confusion when I tried to pay a month in advance.

When we moved out of the property, we fixed every little thing and cleaned the house top to bottom for four days because we knew they would charge us for every little thing. Even after we returned the property in much better condition than when we moved in, they charged us for damages that the prior residents had done and took our entire security deposit.

They even tried to charge us more fees on top of our security deposit. Michelle, the lady who runs the company, acts like she is on your side and blames everything on the property owner but she is the one causing the issues. This rental company is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I feel ashamed to even have my name associated with this company. Please protect yourself and go through another company, like I should have.

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE! THEY ONLY MANAGE THEIR PAYCHECKS, NOT YOUR PROPERTY I had first rented a very small (old) house from this company back in April of 2013. Upon moving into property, the house was in disarray, the weeds and grass were so tall I could not locate my dog without standing on a ladder. I called and asked about who takes care of lawn and they had informed me, after moving in, that I am responsible for all lawn care.

Side note I had rented apartments my entire adult life so did and still don't own a lawn mower. After further discussion I had gone out and rented a lawn mower every 2 weeks to keep outside clean and kept. A month after moving into house the toilets and all other drains were so backed up that if one used the bathroom no matter the number used, once I flushed I would get sewage that would come back up through the shower drain and even the sink.

I called and complained and after 2 weeks of no action from Grand Junction Property "Management" I had to call again. Complained again and after another 2 weeks still no action. Mind you I could not shower, do dishes or use the bathroom this entire time without sewage coming back up. So after 4 whole weeks they finally got someone out to take care of issue.

I asked for some kind of reimbursement for not being able to use the water for 1 month (which also falls under unlivable conditions in lease) said "no the problem is taken care of now and there is nothing we can do." I moved out in March of this year. I attended walk through with the representative and she said she "was very impressed on how clean and kept house was" and informed me that my full deposit will be refunded to me. 60 days later (the Colorado state law for max amount of time allowed) I received my deposit and it was short $105.00. explanation was for a 3hr lawn care fee!

I am absolutely shocked at the audacity of how they treat people in comparison to the dollar. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIFIC COMPANY! THEY WILL STEAL AND CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!
