Our experience has been great. Very quick and responsive. We were able to have a showing within days, application process was straight forward and simple. We are looking forward to signing our lease and moving into our new home. Denise has been great!

I'm so happy to rent from this management company. I rented multiple units in the Oakview location, and not only is Sharon (the property manager) AMAZING, so is the maintenance crew. My neighbors were always good people and the building/parking lots were always clean and upkept. They price their units extremely fair as well.

I wouldn't recommend Heritage to my worst enemy. They'll be nice to you, and tell you that you don't have to clean your carpet, and then charge you to clean your carpet when you move out. I told them when first put the deposit down that I wanted all of the lights replaced, and that was never done. The dish washer didn't work either and I told them that I wanted it fixed when I moved in, and again, that was never done.

They're pretty rude as well, and don't take any time to listen. It is way too over priced. It's a nice neighborhood, but still, that doesn't make up for what a joke Heritage really is. One of my buddies lived on the 3rd floor, and his washing machine broke and had water in it. They called Heritage, and nothing was done about it. So they had a washing machine with stagnant water in it for 3 weeks. If this review helps even just one person not make the mistake of renting from them, I'll be happy. If you do decide to rent, keep all of this stuff in mind.

I've rented through them twice for a total 5 years. I love that they have a lot of non-smoking buildings. They are a little strict in their standards, but it's only to get the best tenants; which I appreciate. I have always gotten my deposit back, unlike Preferred Property Mgmt.

DO NOT RENT T KIRKWOOD HEIGHTS APARTMENTS! Property manager Sharon is extremely rude and very secretive about things. Never paid rent late, paid several months in advance several times. I lived there for two years and left the place spotless a couple months before the move out date. She charged me over $150 to change a lightbulb that was still functioning when I lived there.

And charged me for "cleaning windows" when I cleaned all of them the day I vacated the apartment. They wouldn't even do maintenance that was required of then when I lived there. So unless you like getting overcharged and treated badly, DO NOT RENT FROM SHARON OR HERITAGE PROPERTIES!

The property manager Shawna Mahoney is extremely racist. She attempts to charge residents for issues dealing with normal wear and tear. The walls paint is no paint at all, but primer instead. If you wipe the wall you wipe off the primer. Shawna is a believer of hear say, and she's extremely messy. She has a tendency to poke around in your business about things that in no way are related to renting one of these cheaply made condos. Also, she outright stated to me that "I know how to work the system" because of the disabilities that me and my son have, and my limited ability to work. Move here at your own risk

They want each adult living there to make three times the rent. We looked at a house for 850/mo, which would require us to make $61,000/yr between the two of us, then again lambasted because our credit isn't the best. Um.if we needed to make that much money and have that good of credit, the logical thing to do would just be to BUY A HOUSE. Could get a mortgage on the same house we looked at for HALF THAT.

I've had issues with the maintenance coming in while I wasn't home without any notice given. When I addressed it, they said it was for an emergency because my bathtub was leaking into my downstairs neighbor's apartment. This issue had been brought to their attention 3 months before fixing it. It wasn't an emergency or else they would've done it 3 months ago.

While moving out, they charged me for having to deep clean the carpet, light bulbs that were supposedly burnt out, and pieces missing in the carpet. The carpet was this way when I moved in, so I'm assuming they also charged the last tenant for this "repair" as well. The carpet was very clean because I didn't have any pets and was hardly ever home. This company looks for reasons to take your money. I'd advise against living here.

Nice people to talk to in person; terrible at communication and following up with tenants. Had bugs in our apartment and took them 2 weeks before they got someone out to spray. We were clear about bugs being INSIDE our apartment - specifically crickets - so naturally they had someone spray the outside of the building to solve our problem. No surprise, we still had crickets INSIDE our apartment following them spraying the outside.

Also virtually impossible to get a hold of some property managers there. My roommate and I called over 2 weeks at various times of the day before we got fed up and left a rude voice mail - which got us a quick call back. I quote "I don't call people back when they call in, I'm sorry if you got that impression" Lastly, when we were viewing the property the individual showing it new literally nothing about the apartments (Price, Size, Utilities) - kept saying "oh i must have forgot that sheet".
