Wow the level of disrespect and professionalism from this place is astounding. This is a money sucking pit. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They do not professionally clean anything! Will charge you for everything! They lied and said there was a water softner, and lawn sprinkler system. They left our home unlocked and garage open, and all the lights on after a showing.

And their were MANY SHOWINGS! they also lied and said i was smoking in the house. I don't smoke! The house was in horrible shape dog piss and claw marks covered all doors and baseboards. Carpets had holes in them.ugh just too much. This is the worst ever.

I've been renting from Homes For Now for a year and a half and have been more than happy with them. Steve Stish has been so helpful with getting maintenance done and is always quick to reply if I need anything. People like him make the renting experience easy for tenants. I would highly recommend renting from homes for now!

If I owned a property, I would never trust them to manage my tenants. Upon move-in, the home was not professionally cleaned and there were misc. items left in the home. You could tell they did a quick paint job over spider webs and wall-mounted hardware and every baseboard, ceiling fan, and cabinet were extremely dusty. I made sure to take a LOT of photos upon move-in to be sure we are not responsible for these issues upon move-out, so we will see.

As a tenant, we have had to schedule all services with outside vendors such as A/C repair, refrigerator line leak, washer/dryer repair (rather than the HomesForNow project managing any services). The HOA takes care of all outdoor maintenance. As the tenant, we set up all utilities with the appropriate vendors (which I've never done in the 4 other properties I've rented). Frankly, I'm not sure what home owners pay HomesForNow to do other than collect rent.which we're set up for autopay so that doesn't take much. ***UPDATE*** We have moved out and had a very good experience doing so. I credit this mostly to working with Brittany at Homes For Now. She is very professional and responsive, so if you have the option, definitely work with her!

I have rented from many places in my lifetime, and this company was the absolute worst. During my time of renting from them, they were incredibly slow to respond to things, and most times non-responsive to maintenance issues. When they did come to fix things, they would leave the old broken item behind (washer, furnace, etc.) Every communication with them was extremely cold, robotic, and even downright rude sometimes.

But the worst came when it was time to move out. They had an insane Move-Out Checklist which did not in any way reflect the state in which the property was given to me. They charged me $350 for carpet cleaning when the carpets were already ripped up and in terrible shape and dirty when I moved in. They charged me $350 for "cleaning appliances and drawers and cobwebs" when I cleaned out every appliance in the kitchen thoroughly - so basically just for wiping out some drawers and getting rid of some random cobwebs.

I also told them to contact the garbage company (because they wouldn't let me contact them directly) to pick up and dispose of some old mattresses. This is about a $50 fee but they charged me $300 to have them removed. After everything, I got less than half of my security deposit back. I cannot say one good thing about this company. Stay away.

Awful experience. I understand its covid but she asked me to pay $4500! Sign the lease and refused to let me see the place! Not even by myself one minute with mask for a walk through! Pictures online were blurry and not great. They could be old. How do they expect me to commit a year and $4500 to something they refuse to show me the inside of? Very upset. Wasted 4 days if my time arguing Brittany. My ctedit is superb. Over 800. They ran my credit charged me $55. For nothing. Stay away. That is crazy business practice.

Wonderful company to work with. After requesting a tour of several properties, a response and tour scheduling happened within hours. During the tour, the requirements to rent the property were clearly laid out, and were repeated in a tour follow up email an hour after completing the tours. Rental application, credit check, and lease creation were completed within 24 hours, and their web portal allowed for the deposit and rent to be payed quickly and easily.

Upon moving in, maintenance was requested for several small items (bathroom faucet and shower head upgrade.) Homes for Now responded within minutes and had maintenance scheduled and completed within 24 hours. After living in the apartment for five months, the microwave failed. Property management was notified, and the entire microwave was replaced within 24 hours.

Highly recommend working with homes for now, they respond immediately for requests, offer easy to use web portals, and go above and beyond in making the rental process fast and easy.

Homes for Now has been very helpful to us in keeping our condo rented. They respond almost immediately (even on weekends) to any questions, concerns or issues. Having a rental property in MN while living in AZ requires this kind of help and we really appreciate it!

Homes for now is terrible. If I could give them negative stars, I would. They charge you for EVERY little thing when you move in, even a broker fee FOR A RENTAL! The home is not cleaned by a professional service, just the prior tenant and they have to hope that they do a decent job in order for the home to be presentable to the tenant. During the lease, if a repair is needed, nobody from the company actually comes out to do the repairs, it's the property owner instead.

What is even the point of their company if they don't even do any property management? When you move out, be sure you get a copy of the condition sheet and take photos because they WILL charge you for EVERY LITTLE THING that was already there when you moved in. Never using them for a rental again!

It's only been a few days and I regret ever renting with them. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time for other options. The place showed well, but once I started cleaning and getting into the details, it was disgusting. They did not stick to their terms. Pretend to be nieve and unknowing of any answer. Lots of head nodding, as if they understand and will take care of it.

When I asked about a question on the lease, she said it was probably an error and would ask about it. We signed without getting an answer. Shame on me. At least it's only a 6 mo lease. Don't rent with them and if you really think they are taking care of your property, drop in and take a look for yourself.

My experience so far has been great. Personally I believe emailing is the fastest way to get a response however I haven't had any kinds of issues with maintenance requests or getting any questions answered from start to finish. I hope to continue working with this property management company as a renter until I buy!

Great company to work with. They are great with communication. We provide repairs and maintenance for them. It is a great partnership. They expect quick painless results for their tenants and properties. I recommend working with them.

My husband and I have used Homes For Now for the past 3 years for our rental property management. We have been extremely happy with our experience! They found us renters quickly so we never had to worry about having a vacant property. Our rent was always paid on time and directly deposited in our account. They handled all of the maintenance issues and only contacted us when it was necessary. Walter and the staff at Homes For Now have been not only great to work with, but they are extremely prompt with returning emails and phone calls. We highly recommend using Homes For Now!

Over the past seven years I have both rented from Homes For Now and had them rent out a house I owned. They are always quickly on top of anything you need done. I would highly recommend them for either service, Walter will definitely take care of you

This company, of which has an F rating from the BBB, is absolutely the worst company to deal with as a renter. If you have a problem and call it in, it will take days to weeks for a response. Once the manager Walter actually bothers returning a call, it does not mean anything will be done. Either he forgets to do anything, or is just is lazy, I am not sure.

I really enjoyed the house I rented through them, but moved as soon as I could, as they are terrible to deal with. You have choices, stay far away from this company. CHECK THE BBB ON them, you will see what I mean. They need to clean house of their employees and start all over again.
