Don't work for this company unless you are already buddies with their upper management, in particular, if you're friends with the VP's wife. HR doesn't care how you're being treated unless you have friends up top. They've got the playbook on nepotism and favoritism. If you want to work for a "Christian company", look elsewhere. They're too busy circle-jerking to pay any attention to unethical treatment, even when you bring it to their attention repeatedly along with evidence.

They already decided they don't care before you knocked on their door. Two stars since I worked for them two years. Not that my review matters, their ratings are abysmal wherever you look, Yelp, Google, Facebook, it's all the same stories. Do yourself a favor, and do a Google search for "property management Murfreesboro". Your search results will tell you everything you need to know, since these guys are the bottom of the barrel.

Its so disappointing applying for applications back to back and they all be from this rental company. with the low credit score policy, it would be nice if the company would at least change their policy and give others a chance of leasing a property, just have us applicants pay more down on the rental. nothing's wrong with change. we got the jobs, the money, most of the application approved, just let us people prove it dang.

Terrible company does not care about people stay clear. As you can see by the reply to my review these people get mad when they are called out and try to defame people for making accurate statements about their company glad that their reply so perfectly demonstrated my critiques.

Office Staff and Hunter very friendly and on top of things. MMC Properties has been great with their communication and very professional and organized. I have not rented in years and this has been a great experience so far and I LOVE the house I'm renting! I would highly recommend them!

Critical: Professionalism We rented from these slum lords. We had major water damage from the ice storm. The dinning room was flooded. The electric switches at the front door and dinning room didn't work. They didn't fix any of it and then tried to fine us. breaking g

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! RUN! They are lies and cheats. Rented from them for 4 years. They never offered to paint or anything. They had the landscaping done before I moved in. I kept up what they had done, but when I moved out they decide to cut down trees and bushes and want to charge me for it by saying I didn't keep up the landscape. It was not on me to cut down trees on the property that was part of the landscaping.

When I moved in I had to have the house cleaned, carpet cleaned, replace the blinds, and toilet seats for all bathrooms. They said I could paint the walls without having to change them back. That was also a lie. They tried to charge me for them repainting the whole house when I only painted a section of living room. They tried to say planks in the fence needed replacing and needed a new lock.

I had a video and pics of the fence and the lock. The fence was fine and the lock was not new. They just wanted to keep my deposit and charge me for stuff they wanted to upgrade and change. The crazy part is that a neighbor told me that the house had been sitting empty for 3 years, but they didn't clean the house or put in new blinds, toilet seats, or fresh paint before I moved in. There is more I could say but there is not enough space They just out to take people's money. STAY AWAY!

If you are looking for a place rent, keep looking because this is not the place for you. Money hungry company. I should have known not to move here when they wouldn't let me look at the place before moving in. Hunter is the most unprofessional manager I have ever came into contact with. If money isn't a issue for you, this is the perfect place because they will nickel and dime you till your broke.

They took my deposit because a window was broken on the balcony way after I left. Multiple neighbors told me someone tried to break in after I left but it's still my fault according to Hunter Meredith.

Worst people I have ever rented from. They don't care if your air is out, you have a spider infestation, or if someone broke into your place and broke a window that they charged you for. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. i am a single female and they were the most unprofessional people ever. Especially the manger, very unprofessional.

I'll update this once we're actually out. Go look at my review here on our lovely ending with this place we thought so highly of until recently. Ugh, we were such fools. I'll be reviewing on every single platform possible, with whatever BS comes next. They're singlehandedly ruining my family's life. Making a move that should be super exciting, into a very stressful time and event for my family. Would not recommend. At all. Unless money isn't an object for you, and you don't mind being chewed up and spit out.

True scam artists here. I do not recommend. When you move out they will give you some BS charges on things that didn't need to be replaced or done and they will OVER CHARGE YOU on the labor AND MAKE EVEN MORE PROFIT off you then they already have

Several issues with this management and the contracts provided. Sloppy paperwork, rudeness and possible scams are said issues. To those looking into this company, do listen to the reviews and BEWARE. Childish, responses to each reviewer is also concerning.* I have been in the property management business since 1983, so I know what I am doing and know faults when I see them.

My youngest son needed a place to live and wanted no help from his father aside from co-signing, so I did. When I first came to sign with him, we were treated poorly. If it wasn't for me stepping in, I assume he would be denied a place to live since he was "young looking". Now to the issues mentioned. First off, be CLEAR on anything that is put into a contract.

These "clauses" contradict each other severely. Aside from that, the contracts we received were scatter brained! Speaking of scatter brained, two Labradors should have been on the contract. MISSING, yet deposit was given for them. LEGALLY they need to be ON PAPER, ON SAID CONTRACT. Failure to do so can lead to issues. **On a side note, if this company tries to dish out Discriminative non-sense about a SUPPORT ANIMAL, due refer to the LAW that protects them and the owner.

Mainly if the animal is an approved/certified breed. Luckily, I kept all conversations both vocal and written. The responses were slow and had to be chased for, for days! Management said "everything is fine and they are covered". ** OK. My son recently moved out and now we are getting issues with his deposit. I see no such "cleaning crew fees" they keep telling me about and no damage was done at all to the dwelling. Refusal to give the refundable deposit back.

Or just a huge amount of it. WHY? Basically, they are indicating there is damage when there wasn't? WHAT? WHY charge for cleaning when he cleaned it himself with a professional company. What kind of scam is this? Walk through passed as well! I have conversations and pictures to prove it.** I will SEEK ACTION against this ASAP and with the bank if this isn't resolved quickly.

I will receive everything that is due to me, with no childish antics attached. To conclude, BEWARE and keep proof of everything if you dare to even deal with these people. I await a response which will most likely be downright childish like the rest I've seen and gathered. (Which I wont bother with, since it will waste my time further) Be professional.

Apartments are fine, not spectacular. Management is the worst. They'll promise you one thing, then completely change their terms and say "it's in the lease, verbal agreements aren't binding." Don't expect your deposit back. Edit: If your policy is that verbal communication can be misconstrued, then don't make verbal promises at all. Regardless of your justification, it's dishonest and unethical to say one thing and then do another.

By treating long time renters with some respect and not being a greedy corporation trying to squeeze every penny out of their customers. Especially the ones that have never causes any issues in the 5 years of renting.

We had a water leak in our apartment this afternoon and the guys from MMC (including the Vice President) were out here with our Northfield Lodge maintenance man in record time to take care of everything for us. They were so polite and respectful. And this was a Friday evening around quitting time. They didn't complain once about having to extend their work week. Thank you so much guys!

This rental agency is garbage. We were the first to put in an application for a rental (and were told we would be the first to be considered because of this), and they made us pay almost $100 in app fees, ran hard checks on our credit, called all of our references, only to rent the house to someone else because they didn't wait for one reference to call them back, and ran someone else's application first. They were unclear about the application process from the get.

Office staff is very rude and unprofessional. I just moved into my apartment this weekend, when I moved in I noticed some of the plugs didn't work and there wasn't a light in my bedroom or living room. Then after I switched my WiFi and trying to plug it in last night, I noticed plugs that were at one point working had now gone out. And there wasn. 't a phone or cable outlet.

I thought there's no way. So I go over my lease and then see that instead of the 6 months that we had agreed upon, they made it for a year. As you can imagine, I'm really starting to worry. I call this morning to try and get this figured out, but the lady that answered the phone, kept talking over me, interrupting me, and finally hung up on me. And I'll admit, by the end I was pretty upset and yelled to stop talking over me.

How is it ok to treat someone who used your service like that. very disappointed, and now fear I'm going to be stuck in this apartment because they won't talk to me. Very nice MMC

So far I have no complaints. As soon as I stepped foot into the building I told Emily my needs and wants. She then handed me a set of keys to homes and I was able to chose the right home for us. They have answered all questions and made me feel comfortable.

Do not use this business! It will literally stab you in the back. They will not obey a federal laws, they will deny you to cancel a lease. If I could go lower than one star, I would. This is for the people's knowledge. Do not choose this business because it will cause a hardship on your family! Especially in the case you are military!

MMC is the best! Professional staff and high quality management!
