This cabin was beautiful inside and out, at night time it was so dark and quiet that you could sleep peacefully. There was a washer and dryer that I was not expecting to see inside the cabin, so I was very happy about that. The kitchen was stocked with your pots, pans, utensils, bowls, etc. if you wanted to make meals instead of going out to eat. The only thing that annoyed us was the wooden floors upstairs would creek like someone was walking up there, even though it was only me and my husband downstairs.
We just assumed the wood was expanding and settling, but we'd still be constantly looking up there to make sure no one was up there. I would still definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet get away in the country.

Our stay at Diana's Dream cabin was absolutely perfect. On the very first night we played some of the games, got in the hot tub and slept comfortably in the beds. The kitchen was well stocked and was perfect for all meal preparation. We spent the majority of our time out on the wrap around porch. There were rocking chairs and a table and chairs where we played games.
We used the firepit and enjoyed sitting down by it listening to the water. We played hide'n'seek in the yard for hours and had the best time! It was a wonderful, restful weekend!

Our experience at the Hardwood Trail Retreat in Murphy, NC was GREAT! The cabin is very nice and comfortable for our family of 4. The office was VERY prompt in answering our questions when we called. For example, we needed the hot tub serviced and they had someone there in less than 45 minutes! One thing I would recommend is that the sink holes in the driveway be repaired and that the exterior of the cabin and decks be power washed to remove the mildew/moss buildup; the deck can be very slippery in the morning with the morning dew on it. Other than that our stay was great and we would definitely rent this cabin again! :-

Diane's Dream truly is a dream location. We stayed there a second time and we enjoyed every day and night even better than the first time. Everything we need is provided on the property. Clean beautiful home and the property is a wonderful place for our boys to explore! We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and the creek was so relaxing to hear with the sound of the streams. Thank you for sharing this property to enjoy vacation away from home. We look forward to our next stay!

We were not disappointed from the minute we arrived in Murphy, NC. Check in was easy Peasy! I chose this property for our 29th Wedding Anniversary celebration. They even accommodated my request to have flowers delivered before my arrival. Mountain View was an amazing piece of property that was well kept and well stocked with all you needed. We were amazed at the views from the hot tub, swing and deck. Downtown Murphy was perfect for shopping and the eats were fantastic as we visited Murphy's Steakhouse and Bistro29. We look forward to reserving another weekend soon!
