My husband and I rented with this company for 6 years and I would recommend this company to my friends and family. As with anywhere you rent people are going to bad mouth the people that expect their money paid on time and in full, you signed that contract correct? You know your rent is due, correct? Then pay it when it's due. If your rent goes up it could be a few different reasons, you are habitually late, you are causing issues with neighbors or just Imagine this one.

The property tax went up and it's called inflation which is out of the rental companies hands, it's all in the landlord's hands. If you want your deposit back then leave the place in better shape then when you received it. They are not fixing your problems with your rental the same day? Well they have numerous properties they are dealing with and it's up to the owner of the property to fix it and in what amount of time.

You're dealing with a second party so it will take some time to fix. They're mean to you? Have you checked your attitude? All in all they are human beings and just trying to do their job with little to no backlash from renters who expect too much. I would rent with them again and the office staff is amazing.

Look at the reviews! It's comical! Every 5 or so 1-star posts, there's a 5-star review. LOL The 5 star reviews are a joke. Zero detail or information. Hmmmmm. seems to me like North Idaho Rentals is writing 5 star reviews for themselves. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

I've had a great experience renting from NIRC. Every time I call with something that needs fixing on the property they respond with assistance. They even came over and helped install a lightbulb on the front of my garage.

I'll spare the nonsense and get to the point and list the important things to know before you literally light your security deposit on fire because it will not be getting returned to you no matter what is done (and yes I paid professionals to clean and do the yard and still am getting charged). They will not fix anything (dishwasher broke for over 4 months before finally replaced), you will be harassed for non sense (was asked to cut the lawn with snow on the ground, no joke), constant run around with out getting the truth, charged for over watering when I literally unplugged the sprinkler box so that I could keep tabs on the "over-watering", numerous issues with electrical that need to be addressed (lights flicker and will work sometimes but like I said, it will not get fixed), need I say anymore? Please go with anyone but this company, it's just not worth the headache.

I've been renting this property in CDA since Sept. 15, 2015 thru today. My rent started at $630 and over the six years it was raised in increments to $875. I am on Idaho Housing, my rent portion had been $306.00 but was recently raised to $1495 plus a $50 water charge. My Hud Voucher amount changed to:. If I signed a lease for one year, my portion would go up to $874.

The voucher limit was that amount. If i didn't sign the lease my Hud voucher wasn't eligible, cap was the $1395. My Social Security Retirement is $840.00 by the way. My only option was to move. I gave my 30-day notice, but found finding a place on my limited income was impossible due to the cash needed to move, The deposit, and the 1st and last months rents all needed to move-in prior to leasing.

I told manager I could not stay due to the increase, and that I had no funds to move. I gave 30-day notice for 8/31/21. That date came and went, because I found rents had gone up everywhere in our small tourist town. Covid -19 has caused havoc in my life, I lost my Collectibles income due to loss of business. Losing this income has put me behind in rent by a few days over time, but I always caught up within two weeks.

Three different times. Working with this management office has been difficult, necessary repairs hard to get done, the staff was rude and used text messaging to lash out at me. I also noticed they were rude to several other tenants, causing us to lose some good tenants over the years. I always worked with them in a favorable landlord tenant status, they lack professionalism in the worst way.

I complained about black mold growing in my laundry room and kitchen pantry floors. Never got it removed or inspected during the six yrs here. A new owner purchased the two buildings in April 2021, following the inspection done at sale time, a Hazmat team came fully dressed in protective clothing and masks and removed 11 of the largest trash bags filled with Mold taken from my crawlspace.

Not once did a rep from the company discuss the situation, check the mold in my apartment, nothing. I've been sick a lot since moving to these apartments, the likelihood I've had mold toxity was never addressed. Also, these buildings were built in 1979, they are in need of a remodel, new carpets, lino floors, new paint, insulation, updated heating source and more.

This was promised me upon move in, it never happened. Winters are cold, summers hot, moist causing the mold problem for years. So I was fortunate to find some Covid Relief Housing assistance thru Idaho Housing in Boise, Idaho. I applied immediately and notified the management as to my current status. I could not move without this money, cod take a bit, but they would pay for my current rents, and pay for me to move into a different place.

I've looked, with rent costs going sky high in our area, without assistance my finding new housing was impossible. I did it however, but when my worker called the Mgt Office today to make arrangements to pay my rents past due, they refused to accept the money, and filed instead an eviction against me to leave the property. I was shocked, the new owner was losing out on $3600 due through today, my hopes and dreams gone because the office staff are mishandling my situation.

They on purpose refused my aid, , filed an eviction against me, suing for the very months I had been approved for. Stating I had ruined their business due to a newspaper article that honestly was harmless. Their 2-star review had never been above 2, I had nothing to do with their poor ratings they gave poor quality in every area. F- might begin to describe the poor services they provided the tenants here.

So sue me Julie and Roxanne, your going to be awakened with a lawsuit that will make your head spin. You are liars, you treat tenants like garbage, and have no idea how to properly run a property mgt. Business. F---- 0 Stars out of 5 possible.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Several complaints in about direct violations of basic living conditions and they did not lift a finger. On top of that they made us show our apartment to potential renters instead of doing the job themselves. Do yourself a favor; if you are looking to rent using North Idaho Rental Company save yourself the trouble and find a nice cardboard box. Same quality of living conditions and fewer problems.

Me and my girlfriend applied to rent a property from North Idaho rental CO. We were told that nobody had taken interest in the property yet and we were first in line. When we came into the office to view the property, they discriminated against us because of our age and told us we need a co-signer despite us making more than enough money to rent the property. Becuause it was Friday afternoon and they were going to be closing we took our applications home and returned them Monday morning when they opened back up.

The lady shortly thereafter gave my girlfriend a phonecall saying that somebody already applied Friday afternoon after we left and that the property is no longer available. However, they didn't mention it when she came in to drop the applications off. This company is ran like hell. I suggest taking your business elsewhere like I will be doing :.

Our clogged rain gutters at have asked several times to have them cleaned out. Also they said the rent was $895 then it went to $925 then it went to $975! Telling us take it or leave it, after we spent weeks trying to rent. I call that bait and switch!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. First off, when we moved in the place was a dump. The walls were splotchy, various shades of paint and wall putty. There was a HUGE bleach stain on the carpet that went from the laundry room to the kitchen and the floors were filthy! While living there (18 months total), we had several issues. First off they called and yelled at us (yes, yelled) about having a 'boat parked on our grass'.

We don't even own a boat! They got us confused with our neighbor. They confused us with our neighbor another time too. they called us and yelled at us about how our grass was unkempt and over grown and dying--It was the neighbors grass! My husband mowed our lawn every weekend and watered it every other day-- it looked better than when we got there!

They are slow on apartment/house maintenance (if you can even get them to respond). And on move out. we hired a Professional Cleaning Service to come and clean our house the day before we moved out. It was spotless--better condition than when we moved in. A month after moving out they called us and told us our deposit return was going to be 360. Are you kidding me?

We put down almost 900 as a deposit and they took OVER HALF because we didn't clean 'behind the stove'. Do NOT lease with them. They are the rudest people I've ever met. They always sounded like we were a hassle when we called or had questions. The properties are fairly priced and competitive but it's definitely NOT worth it. Take your business elsewhere if you want to avoid frustration and headache!
