One of the nicest places we have ever stayed on vacation. Everything from the room (which was just beautiful and exactly what you would imagine from the very best American homes), the grounds (which are beyond stunning), to the fabulous hosts. Just wonderful, really genuine people. After long days driving around experiencing the island it was just magical coming back here to crash. We will come back again and again when we are in Kauai. Absolute highlight of our trip so far.

The star fruit was one of the highlights of the island! It was a great place to feel like home while on vacation!

This place was amazing! The whole, giant yard is gorgeous with lots of fruit trees around to snack on. The outdoor shower is so, so nice and the cabins are adorable. Some are small but the layout is good so it feels spacious. They come equipped with everything you need: towels, toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, snorkels, boogie boards, food recs, guide books, parking and more! We had an amazing stay.

These people are an absolute dream come true. They go out of their way to help you and my dad just stayed the week with them at their home (BnB) up in the hills and he just loves them to pieces. I am posting this because of how highly he spe4aks of them -- his name is Greg Scher.

Very beautiful bed and breakfast. We Enjoyed walking around the property and exploring. The gardens are amazing. Very well kept. The owners are a lot of fun to talk too. We are already planning our next trip.

A great place to stay off the beaten path. Wonderful comfortable home up and sleeping giant that's a great place for small families. Beach chairs and towels are available and the owners are very knowledgeable regarding what to do and where to go on the island.

Spent five nights in the smallest room of the "bunkhouse" at Rosewood. For a solo traveler or couple on a budget, this is the perfect alternative to a hotel or hostel - extremely affordable relative to most other options, but also clean, friendly, and in a quiet and beautiful setting. The shared bathroom was very close by and not a problem (only shared with two other rooms, I rarely even saw the other guests), and the outdoor shower was a treat (nothing beats showering under the stars!).

They had ample beach and snorkel gear available to borrow. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, and I found Kapa'a a convenient base for exploring the island during my visit. No TV, but good wifi and a well stocked little kitchenette. I can't speak to the other rentals available on the property, but for the price and quality, the bunkhouse was a great fit for me.

Far nicer than any other options I could find in this price range. One note - the room had an inside latch, but no lock to secure it while you were out of the room. I felt completely safe and comfortable leaving my things there (and didn't really have much with me anyway), but something to note if it would be uncomfortable for you.

Very well loved house and gardens. The small cheaper rooms with little kitchenette were ideal for our stay.

This is the most amazing place to stay in all of Kauai. From the moment I emailed Rosemary I knew this was the perfect place. The grounds are immaculate and the views are to die for! I stayed in bunkhouse number one and it was cute and adorable and very clean. It was nice to not stay in a fancy hotel. This was more of a homey feeling and so quiet.

The prices are insanely cheaper than they could actually be. I felt like I was at home here and just think everyone should take the opportunity to stay with Rosemary and her husband. BOOK NOW!

Rosewood was FABULOUS! We absolutely loved everything about it ~ the peaceful country setting, all the trees, flowers and wonderful fruits.the stream running through the grounds and the soothing waterfall ~ their soft yellow home, bunkhouses, cottages and outdoor shower ~ We felt like we were home! We quickly bonded with Norbert and Rosemary ~ they made us feel so welcome, so comfortable ~ so "at home".

We stayed in Bunkhouse #2 ~ it was PERFECT for us! So nice and clean ~ It was the icing on the cake of our Kauai vacation! Rosewood comes complete with top of line Kitchen Aid gas grills along with any and every tool and utensil you might need to prepare fabulous meals. There is a large outdoor dining table on a common patio ~ or you can eat inside your bunkhouse at a table for 2!

We had a little sofa, chest of drawers, mini fridge, microwave, dishes, utensils ~ and the coolest thing.the most comfortable king size bed up the stairs in the "loft". Rosewood's peaceful country setting is just a short drive away from shops, grocery stores, restaraunts, fabulous beaches and the breathtaking NaPali Coast! We have only been home 1 week and have recommended Rosewood to many friends and family ~ we will absolutely make Rosewood our home away from home when we visit Kauai. Until next time ~ Bob & Kara

Great experience. My husband and I reserved a two-week stay, but had to move the dates, and Rosewood people were very understanding about it and let us move it. The place we are staying is Rainforest Dew and we love it. Reasonably priced and away from the tourist crowds. The host is friendly and available.
