San Diego Sunset Vacation Rentals was created more than 20 years ago to meet a personal need for a responsive property management company. We wanted to create a company that could handle all day-to-day tasks associated with having a vacation rental but without the exorbitant fees. A company that would promptly return calls, answer emails and deal with the issues as they arise and a company that would actively market properties. We have a team that is here to help owners maximize the return on their properties as vacation rentals and/or long-term rentals.
This unit is beautiful inside, and was spotless. Everything is brand new and it's one of the few rentals on Mission Bay that we could find that has air-conditioning, which made a huge difference for sleeping. Location is incredible, in the center of everything. We found the bayside to be so much nicer than the ocean side, too.
This is a great beach house, walking distance to everything and we loved it, we will for sure be heading back soon. Very clean with a great view because the balcony is on the 3rd floor. Excellent service from San Diego Sunset Vacations. Gorgeous upgrades, recently renovated, and great location right on the boardwalk and sand on the bay.

The WORST customer service I have ever received by the OWNER of the company. Do not use this rental company. They do not give a crap about you or your safety. They obviously do not do safety checks. We stayed at the "Beachfront Villa." It looks nothing like the pictures, it was extremely dirty, the garbage disposal was broken, there was a huge cracked mirror in the master bedroom with painters tape on it, not advertised steep tile stairs going from level 2 to level 3(the kitchen was on level 3), 5 broken chairs on the patio, and they have multiple rental agreements with different rules.
When we called San Diego sunset rental company to tell them about the broken items/unsafe house they basically said, "sucks for you." They wanted to send a maintenance guy to fix everything while we were staying there. Sounds like a great vacation hanging out with the maintenance guy(who walked in unannounced but was nice enough). They did not offer to let us change houses or a discount.
They are so rude, they do not care. They also said it will take them 2 weeks to return the deposit which was not in our written rental agreement. We have no faith or trust in this company and will NEVER use them again. I feel bad for the owners of the place.

Our family of 6 adults stayed in the South Mission Luxury for 6 days in April of 2015. The condo was beautiful, it had every single thing we needed during our stay. The proximity to the beach is crazy fabulous. The patio was amazing. The Customer Service was absolutely excellent. In a word "Incredible".

Good experience overall. Checked in and Gary was very helpful and clear about the rental agreement. We stayed at "A Paradise Retreat" and it was right on the Bay. Very clean, well equipped property for our family of 3. 1 block over was the beach. There are multiple condo's in the building and it never heard a peep from anyone--the place is very sound proof.
The free use of the bikes was a plus. The only suggestion I would have is to put at least 1 roll of paper towels in the place at least 1 laundry detergent tab, since it came with neither. Check in/out was a breeze.

Excellent location and accomodations for our boys' trip. Our beach house featured three large bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a great kitchen with all the necesities. Plus it had a great second floor balcony where we watched the scene on the beach and boardwalk. Our group never felt cramped at all. This is the second year we have booked with Sunset and they are easy to work during the entire process.

I recently hosted my college reunion at the Surf View, located at 3323 Ocean Front Walk, San Diego CA 92109. The property is located on the boardwalk, steps away from the beach - an outstanding location! The property had everything we needed, except beach towels and beach chairs. The property does come with 2 parking spaces, but we had 5 cars in our group.
Public parking is available on the street, but it does require some effort to locate a spot. I was pleasantly surprised that there was ample room for all 12 of us, we never felt crowded. All 12 of us had fabulous time! I highly recommend this location to anyone who loves the beach and its corresponding lifestyle.

Our family stayed at Mission Beach we had a wonderful time. We stayed in a 3 bedroom/ 3 bath condo. There were 4 families staying there and we had plenty of room. We were there to celebrate my granddaughters graduation. It was clean and well kept. We had trouble with the sink the first day and right away they sent someone to fix it. The beach was a few steps away and close to everything. Parking sucked but everything else was great. (With Melanie Delgado)
