Hellgate Condos, named after the white cliffs which tower above them, sit between Alta and Snowbird resorts. These condos are incredibly close to both ski resorts, less than a mile to each, making them ideal for visitors who are looking to get the most out of their Utah vacation. While renting a Hellgate condo, you can float in fresh Utah powder, spend spring afternoons watching Alpineglow dance across canyon walls, and discover summer solitude in mountain meadows full with fresh wildflowers.Returning guests will be delighted to learn that the main entrance stairway has undergone recent renovations.
Powder Ridge ski condos sit directly below Westward Ho, the westernmost run at Alta Ski Resort. Ski some of the best snow and terrain in the world right to your back steps. Wow! 12 of us (3 families) flew in from Virginia to Salt Lake City to celebrate our high school seniors over our Spring Break and seek out great mid April skiing and snowboarding. Wendee and Meagan at Canyon Services helped make the reservation process painless and gave advice on times to fly in and out, transportation, etc. The house, Blackjack Ridge #2, could not have been nicer.
We got 2 feet of snow while we were there and hopped on the slope at the end of the street for a quick ski down to Snowbird Center or to Peruvian Express lift. At the end of the day, we skied back to the end of our short street. The kids' bunk room easily fit our 6 teens and all of their stuff. The other bedrooms were amazing with private baths. The outdoor hot tub was huge and cleaned twice (thanks to Canyon Services) during our stay due to lots of use. Tons of wood out front for a huge family room (gas start) wood burning fireplace that heated the entire kitchen, living and dining area.
The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking for large groups - 2 coffee pots with filters, gas stove, large Subzero fridge, rice cooker, cookie sheets, pots, pans in multiples etc. The garage was heated with a huge dryer for all of our boots, gloves, helmets, etc. There were lockers for everyone in the garage. Any time I called with a need for paper towels, soap, etc, they were promptly delivered. Canyon Services also helped us set up transportation to and from the airport. We will definitely use Canyon Services again. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful vacation with memories to last a lifetime.

Our stay was great! The Canyon Services team was very helpful and the location and condition of the accommodations was perfect. (The snow was epic - definitely heed restrictions on vehicle type coming up the canyon and pay attention to all recommendations for provisioning in anticipation of interlodge)

Lovely condo, perfect for skiing to Snowbird or Alta. We loved the indoor hot tub! The staff are super friendly and helpful. We found ourselves at Snowbird and would have loved a shuttle from there to Sugarplum, but we used the Cliff Lodge car service and it worked great. Would definitely recommend.

The house we rented was fine. It was spacious and nice. However, I had a couple issue with Canyon Services. First, when I called the night we got there to ask where to park car, they told us we have a parking garage for 1 car and to park our second car in front of the garage. Next day, a neighbor had to tell us that it was a horrible idea so snow is melting and coming down from the room so it could easily crush the roof of the car. Second, the entrance of the house is not right by the sidewalk.
There is a small path that leads to it. That path was barely shoveled and was incredibly icy. The first night, we arrived after the sun went down so the path was pretty much frozen. Walking down that path with our luggage was very dangerous. Even during the day, that path was very slippery and dangerous to walk. I slipped multiple times and almost sprained my ankle.
I called Canyon Services as well as emailed them about this issue but they did not say anything over the phone nor did they reply to my email. I felt that they did not want to reply and acknowledge the issue in fear of liability if an injury happened. That was very disappointing.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay for a weekend getaway! Our condo (Hellgate) was extremely clean and spacious, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a nearby hot tub, and gorgeous mountain views. The staff was extremely helpful and made the entire process very easy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay that is clean, cozy, and easy on the wallet.

Really enjoyed our stay. Slight issue with loss of cable and internet after a huge storm, but otherwise really enjoyed the condo. A second storm that came through caused us to need to leave before 6 am the day of our departure to beat the snow, which was a good thing because Little Cottonwood Road closed due to an avalanche. Canyon Services called until they reached us to make sure we made it back safely and were not searching for a place to stay. Will definitely return.

Canyon Services was great! There was a huge storm when we landed in SLC, and Jen spent a lot of time on the phone with me, keeping me posted on the road closure and interlodge protocol coming soon due to avalanche danger. She was helpful, well informed, and extremely pleasant. In addition, the cleaning people were in our condo cleaning when we finally got there. They let us get in, drop off groceries, and get geared up so we could get a couple runs in before the lifts closed.

Canyon Services was terrific and very professional but friendly. The information was complete and easy to process. Our receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The condo was above as advertised, quite comfortable with the needed amenities. We will absolutely use Canyon Services the next time we visit Snowbird/Alta for the incredible skiing!

We had the most amazing winter ski vacation with family and friends. The staff of Canyon Services were always quick to respond and assisted with lift tickets, grocery/adult beverage shopping, travel information - always just a quick email or phone call and everything we needed was taken care of. We'll be back!

I've had the opportunity to stay in a few of the properties that Canyon Services offers and I have always LOVED my stay! I've stayed in: Village at Sugarplum 20, Village at Sugarplum 7, Village at Sugarplum 2, Hellgate I and Blackjack Ridge 2. Each property has something unique to offer I've been with friends, family and even extended family. Each property where I've stayed has given my family an group exactly what we needed for a fun stay within the budget we were going for. Thanks!

I have had the delightful experience of an extended summer time rental of a luxury townhouse at the Village at Sugarplum, at Alta, which I booked through Canyon Services. The property was spectacular and the management and staff were extremely helpful. When I requested an outdoor barbecue grille, a brand new unit with a full tank of fuel and a new set of grilling utensils was delivered within the hour.
The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to have meals in. The moose in the yard was very enjoyable, but I guess I can't give Canyon Services credit for that. I highly recommend renting through Canyon Services!
