They ask for you to have your animals declawed which is animal cruelty and any humane animal shelter or vet will tell you so as people do it for THEIR convenience and disregard their own pets. Disappointing. Immediate no. They're lucky it's not illegal here just morally wrong.

If I could give Gene (So Called Property Manager) & The Villas @ Southern Ridge A 0 Star I Would! Worst decision I ever made moving here. They are no help in the office, the maintenance staff has no knowledge on the property. You will be told a bunch of lies and be ran around circles a lot! PLEASE BE AWARE!

My wife and I have lived here since spring of 2018. It is a pleasant complex, quiet, and has adequate parking. The rates for rent are reasonable, and they have a nice pool and exercise facility on the grounds.

I cannot review the condos but the grounds and clubhouse are well maintained. The pool was resurfaced in the spring (2018). I am a service contractor for the property and know first hand that they keep things in order. Conveniently located.

My husband and I have just moved in, and in the past week we have seen maintenance more than any place we have rented. They have been very helpful in fixing all the items broken in our unit quickly. There are children running around, so it certainly is family friendly. Some facilities are run down and could use some tlc, but the rec room is clean and there even is a small library in the club house. The office seems a tad ambivalent, but the woman in charge of unit is friendly and helpful. Overall, my family is excited for our new living situation.

I called it home for almost 5 years and it's great! Quiet surroundings and it's just far enough away from the city to be called "the country"

Love everything about it except that they have a contract with a vicious towing company (Colliers Towing) and there have been instances of them towing cars for no reason, then harassing and EXTORTING the people who they tow. The villas are not close enough to anything to make a tow company necessary. If a car is in the parking lot its probably someone who lives there or someone visiting. I would give the villas 5 stars, but after being victimized by Colliers towing so many times I'm gonna have to give it 1

We only lived here for one year. That was enough for us to want to move on. The basement apartment had a lot of insects and leaks: air conditioner, tub, and toilet. I got tired of living with a dehumidifier and fans in the summer to dry out the carpet. The management is not really into their job and not helpful. The day we moved out the leasing office was supposed to open at 1:00 and no one was there.

If you need anything done right, Tina Adams is amazing. She was property manager when we lived at another place and we immediately recognized her and we're glad to she moved on to Real Properties. She is attentive and a problem solver. They were going to charge us for the carpets that were damaged during the numerous leaks, but we appealed to her and she took care of it. Nonetheless, Bernie is an awesome maintenance guy; he has a lot of work and does it well.

He even helped my friend who was babysitting for me when I was away. She locked herself out and he recognized the baby and our dog and let them back in. He takes time to know the people in the complex and is always working on a project.

Dear All ( Current and Future Residents), I am very glad to live here and will certainly give a 5 stars for this community for its serenity and secured ambience. But for the past few months, I have been frustrated because of the neighbour dumping cig butts, match sticks, dog's filth, half eaten pizza, crayons, soda cans etc in my porch. Infact once a management person came to clean it and they are very much aware of it.

Still these episodes are continuing, and there is no improvement in the situation. When I complaint several times to my landlord ( of my privately owned unit), She responded with the following comments from the management (through email). Please see the management reply below. **************************************************************** We spoke about your situation yesterday.

We are not aware of other units who have complained. To my understanding there are two units above yours, not to mention walking traffic by your patio. We have no way to properly identify the offending party. I don't believe tenant has identified the offending party but correct me if I am wrong. The association is limited in its authority, and in this situation we have zero evidence to tie a violation to a specific party.

I understand this is a frustrating situation but please understand we need more to go off of **************************************************************** Just to let you all know, I have given enough photos of the cig butts, half burnt matches, crayons, pencils, soda cans, half leaten pizza etc to my landlord and she forwarded that to the management.

Still if the management wants evidence, i would like to highlight that i dont have a closed circuit camera to capture when the person is throwing trash, and its not my job because I already have a full time job. Also the management should understand that the other neighbours will not complain, unless something is trashed into their porch. Nevertheless very patiently i have been cleaning the mess every now and then, which i need not do.

Even last evening i cleaned my porch, and here you go one more cig butt, few crayons and a half burnt matches. I have taken some pics, but i know its useless because management may need a pic with a person throwing the trash which i really dont know if I can capture that shot. Its so sad that i cant enjoy my patio as other residents do, and i stopped using the porch, because i dont want me or my little baby to get our skin burnt by a half burnt cig or the matches. Hope you all can understand my frustration, and can realize how much 'responsible' the management is. Thanks for reading. Nice day Happy cleaning

Lived there for three years and had lots of problems with management. Lived in a basement apartment and had several issues with leaks. Paid lots of fees for animals (deposit and extra rent per month) but still was charged for replacing the carpet upon moving out. Management's response was that they replace carpet every 6 or 7 years. Had issues with cigarette butts and dog waste around the community. Would not recommend renting from them.
