Hi. I have lived at Canterberry Park Apartments for 3 years now. They have been helpful with my needs. Maintenance is pretty responsive. The costof living here is lower than most places here and surrounding areas. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and safe. If I had to search for an apartment I would come here.

Called to file a complaint about my unit flooding for unknown reasons and a man named Nate who took the call tried telling me Venbury Trail Apartments wasn't in their network. When i demanded to be transferred to someone who knows what they're doing the supervisor (a woman i can't recall the name) was easily able to find my apartment. Horrible company

Manager (Emily) called me on the 20th of january 2020. Stated she needed to get a addemum to my brothers lease on a garage he rented. I asked how she got my number since i had not lived with my brother since 2016 in fact i recently just moved back from wisconsin. She stated i was in the lease. (Lie no 1) but i told her she could mail me them and when i saw him i would givethem to him.

Next day a process server showed up at my home in another city.handed me forcible entry papers.which had my address on them. my brother does not live with me and have not seen him in 2 plus years. This is circumventing the law a legal procedures of the state of iowa. Making it my responsibility to locate him is not my job thats your responsibilty as property owners.

I will be visiting the judge on this matter and filing a cease and distist order. Any further attempts to contact me in writing, person or electronically will be met with the full force of the the law including but not limited to pny company that circumvents tge laws should not be patronized!lawsuit. Anyone renting from this property owner should vacate there pnroperties and never rent from them ever. A

Glad to be gone from there. Also had a flood it took them a month to fix our ceailing. Don't rent from them

Would never live in a Conlin property again. HOA board is a corrupt good ole boys club that act like dictators. They mismanage money and property maintenance. Snow removal was terrible, neighbors are nosey, and the management, Kim in particular, was inattentive and rude. They even went so far as to, essentially, rig an election of the HOA board. My fiance and one of our neighbors tried to take action against the board the right way by running against the incumbent board members.

Both received unjustified fines the week of the election, all of which were later retracted as "misunderstandings." Because of the fines, our neighbor and my fiance were ineligible to run for the board positions, and all 36 of their votes (more than double the number of votes received at the HOA meeting that was able to re-elect the incumbent members) were thrown out. It was absolutely criminal.

Do NOT rent from Conlin properties! They are very rude, and unprofessional. After being evicted by them we found a place to live, the only stipulation was that we get a payment arrangement made with the apartment. When we asked the manager of Windfield West Apartments, Jennifer Le Beau, she got very aggressive and rude and told us no. She then told my mom she better leave her office and never come back. Very unprofessional! I repeat DO NOT rent from any conlin property!

I know HOA companies in general are not very popular. Knowing that. expectations are not very high to begin with. Conlin can't even meet low expectations. They are just terrible. They're the HOA that flexes their muscles with their rules but hires dirt cheap help to get anything done. maybe. "Oh, but they were the cheapest bid". Threats of towing members because they're parking in "Visitor Parking" when no one battles for parking in the first place.

The landscaping companies are a joke that will just mow over your kid if they were in the way. just to get done. Snow removal sometimes. Don't try to call Misty about anything as she will send you to her voicemail so she can avoid you even though she's in the office. BYE BYE Conlin. you will never get another dollar from me.

I have lived in two of conlin properties that Julie is Property manager of and let me tell you something about this wonderful woman. I have watched her go above and beyond her call of duty as a property manager for her tenants no matter what their back ground is. When I first contacted her she was the only one that gave the cap program a chance and now there is a lot more people she has helped no matter wha their issues were.

I have watched her make sure that in her daughters memory that kids got Christmas presents. When something has went wrong I have watched this woman work hours to try and make things right. So after I saw what the paper wrote I just had to say something. If giving that woman whatever she wants to keep her and her family quiet then what about the other two families that did not have any where else to go but were very happy with how fast things got done.

They don't have anyone giving them anything. So let not take care of them. Ms. Grey is getting a big fat check but the other two family don't get anything in fact I have heard them tell Julie thank you for working for fast and hard for us. I feel the owner needs to know how hard of a worker he has and how much of her personal time and life she really does give up for this company.

If I was the C. E. O I would not want to let a worker like this go. However he needs to look more into his inter staff within the corporate office and see who his "team players "really are instead of getting rid of hard working people who care about their occupants

Lived in a Conlin Property for a year before not being able to renew my lease because the racist, mentally unstable property manager lied and used me for donations for the kids in the complex only to turn around and shut me out in the end and take all of the credit. She would racially profile people coming to my home. If they were white.she said nothing.

If they were black.she would knock on the windows and question them. Not just with me.but also with other tenants. She literally questioned every single person who came to visit anyone if they had some color to their skin. Her son who lives with her is the lead singer for a band called Corpse. The back of their cars have decals and one says the band name and then.

Because dead girls can't say no. This is highly offensive and inappropriate. Calls and complaints to the property management company were never returned and nothing was ever done. When I attempted to smooth things over so I wouldnt have to move. Beth from Conlin completely shut me out and wouldnt even talk to me about the situation. Never had an issue the entire time I lived there. Paid rent on time. Super clean. Do not live in a property owned by this company and definitely don't live at any property of theirs that is managed by Julie Worley.

As a previous review stated they aren't professional by any means. When faced with a problem that I needed more time I was told I needed to deal with it. They are only interested in money and not keep tenants happy. I guess it's easier for them to lie on their applications to get tentats in. And they have units that are income restrictioned I wonder how the BBB would feel about this let alone the federal government.
