This hotel is a co-op, so there are residents in some rooms. It's at the Diamond Head end of the main Waikiki strip, so that was great. The place is kind of creepy at first, but you get used to it. Not much parking. While it wasn't a bad place, next time I will pay more for a nicer hotel.

If money's an issue and you're a school bound student, Lehua apartments are a perfect choice. 2 miles from UH Hilo and smack dead in the middle of Hilo city. Convenient and Cheap. What more can a person ask for?

Good price for a gated community close to the beach other places I rented at don't even have maintenance service. who cares about AC its Hawaii! cool breeze don't get higher than 100degrees short walk to the beach and your child school is in the community I love it here its beautiful, no issues

The Ohana spirit is the best at the Plaza, only place to stay in Waikiki, very secure. We have been booking in since 1987 and would go anywhere else, low key, basic, but a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.
